“hahahaha! this is awesome....and a bit scary too”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

Sooooo... where do we start? First Panguitch by itself should be name Sleepy Hollow....because it is quiet...really quiet especially on sundays. Finding a place where to have dinner (and breakfast too as a matter of fact) on sunday night is hard....Flying M is the only one open so here we go.
Really old place, from the 50's maybe ( 1950 not 1850) but at least they serve some food. It is old, the carpet is old and let s say dusty but they have burgers and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. It is an old dinner place, that was probably glorious a while ago and they serve average food. It is not very good but it is not bad either so that worked out for us after all.
We sat on really old couches... a bit broken...I though we were both going to disappear in our seat because there was a hole in the pillow hahaha but we managed and adapted.
Service was really friendly, fast and efficient and they were quite packed...not because it s good but because they are the only ones open...am afraid to say so.
The water jar looked so old that we decided to sterilize digestive tacts with really excellent local beer from Utah. so enjoy the beer because it s really good.

God I love road trips in Utah...it is always a culinary adventure. so would I go back, YES
why because it was decent and FUN and we did not die. and we are still laughing about it.

“Don't eat here!”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

This was the only restaurant open on Memorial Day, except Subway. Should have had subway. They clearly had not prepared for this holiday weekend, The waitress, who appeared to be in charge, was rude, loud, and made no apologies about the extremely slow service. Some people were walking out after ordering when food didn't arrive after 30-40 minutes.

When the food did arrive after 45 minutes it was average at best. watery spaghetti sauce, TINY fried shrimp, yuck. just yuck!

As a former restaurant owner, a smile and an apology can go a long way in making up for long waits. The lady in charge would not have worked for me very long.

“Excellant coffee and breakfast”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

We drove by this place a couple of times, checking it out both for lunch and dinner but it never seemed to be open or to have people there. But we needed an early (7 a.m.) breakfast and it was the only place open. And it was good. They did a nice job on the basics of bacon and eggs and they make a good biscuit. And it was some of the best coffee we had on the entire 12-day trip. The waitress, Heather, was very nice. The place itself is full of small-town 50s, 60s, & 70s mementoes that entertain the eye. It’s on the edge of town (which means it’s a whopping 2-3 blocks away) but worth the trip.

“I recommend this nice homey cafe.”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

We were late in trying to get something to eat, and this lovely quaint place attracted us. The food was served quickly and was nicely prepared and presented. The waitresses were personable and we enjoyed bantering with them! We were thankful that they were still open, even though the sidewalks were rolled up for the night in the rest of the town!

“Great food, good prices”
Reviewed May 16, 2014

We ate here twice and found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. There is also a deal between the restaurant and the Canyon Lodge where your non-alcoholic drinks are free if you stay at the motel. I don't know if other motels have similar arrangements.
