“Great enterance to Bryce”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Driving through Red Canyon will get you pumped up about going to Bryce. The red rocks remind me a lot of Sedona, Arizona (which is a must-go if you're in Arizona). The deep red hoodoos were even more spectacular in the afternoon sun!

“Amazing diversion just outside Bryce Nat'l Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Well worth a few hours if you're on your way to Bryce and have time to spare. Amazing red sandstone cliffs and hoodoos. Great trails with very little traffic (compared to the crowds at Bryce).

“DON'T MISS RED CANYON”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

Everyone is focused on getting to Bryce Canyon NP and might miss this hidden gem. In the Dixie National Forest is this great area of deep red formations. We stopped and went to the visitor center and walked a few of the trails. We saw some very interesting formations and it was worth the extra bit of time. It was a delicious appetizer before going into the "holy moly" voodoos of Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed it a great deal and you will too.

“Beautiful at sunset....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

Stopped here as an afterthought... glad I did. Go to the "arches" trail, saw very few people on the trail and lots of small arches, Wonderful to photograph at sunset. Very short trail, so do it for scenery not the hiking.
