Owner description: For 50 years this stately and historic depot served as a major hub for transcontinental rail service. Today, it remains a monument to grand rail stations of the early 20th-century and includes four museums: the Utah State Railroad Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Browning Kimball Car Museum and the Browning Firearms Museum.

This beautiful building holds multiple exhibits: art, railroading, and guns. The art changes. The railroading part has hands-on interactive parts for the whole family. But the Browning gun collection is spectacular. He was a Utah native who invented and designed weapons that changed history. His O# gun prototypes are displayed along with the #1 manufactured.

Have been meaning to visit this museum for the past few years, finally took time to do it! This is a very nice museum in the train depot, with a little of everything - trains, cars and guns. The model train setup was great! I'm going to have to bring my grandkids next time. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Summer 2012 while I was in Utah was HOT. Seemed hotter than usual. My son and I visited the Union Station to see the Western Art Show. While there we also visited eh gun museum and had lunch in the onsite restaurant. Enjoyed our visit immensely.

A nice collection of old and historic trains and railroad cars. Very interesting. In its heyday Ogden was quite the hub for rail transportation. There is a museum, gift shop and decent restaurant inside. If you are on Historic 2th Street looking around take the time to check it out. You can walk around the trains outside free. There is an admission to the museum.

We just walked around the trains on display outside the station and that was more than enough to keep a Thomas the Train fan happy and engaged. There is a nice variety of trains.
