My room was very spacious and clean. The front desk attendant Kenny was super kind and helpful. The halls were quite, I could not hear my neighbors like you can in most hotels. In a great location. Just a few blocks from tons of options for food and shopping. I will definitely be staying here again.

I'm not done staying here so I won't go into too much detail.

The room I have is spacious, two queens with a couch, coffee table, and a dining table with two chairs.

The room is pleasant but there are some definite signs of age. There is a cracked tile in the bathroom, the bathrooms are not configured with a sink; the sinks are in the room. Weird.
The coffee maker is a per cup with styrofoam cups. For the love of the planet, can we please not use styrofoam? And if the hotel insists on styrofoam cups, at least have one available.
The room darkening curtains aren't long enough to keep daylight out. We really needed darkness after our long overnight trip.

All that being said, the room is clean, the beds are comfy enough to sleep in. The beds do not have the pillow top you may be expecting, though. The WiFi works pretty well and there is a TV with basic channels. The staff are not rude and somewhat helpful. There is a breakfast open until ten! Parking is pretty good but we are here mid-week. The drive to Snowbird is only about 35-40 minutes. Ski passes are available at a discount at registration.

Overall, for the price, this place is worth the stay.

Fantastic location for family or single ski travelers. Hotel is clean with very friendly staff, offers great breakfast as well as modest but sufficient dinner if you feel too tired to venture out. Meals are included in price. As to the drinks, having a fresh brew vs. bagged coffee would further improve the breakfast experience. Very convenient to shuttles for several ski resorts if not renting a car. Great value and repeat customers.

We stayed for skiing. Perfect location for the ski buses. Great room, great breakfast, the evening supper was a wonderful surprise. Loved the pool and hot tub. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, courteous and knowledgeable, especially Cary. Walking distance to mall and lots of great restaurants; chains and local joints. Shuttle service to airport and restaurants was easy, convenient and timely. Already planning on skiing and staying at the Crystal Inn next year.

Room tip: fridge, microwave, coffee pot, 2 sinks, couch, table/chair in our 4th floor double room.

I travel to Salt Lake City regularly for work and play. My favorite place to stay is the crystal inn in murray. It's location is ideal with easy access to the freeway. The hotel is always clean with friendly staff. A light dinner and breakfast is offered making your trip convenient. I would recommend this hotel for any trip the Salt Lake Valley for business or pleasure.
