I stayed here for a business trip and it seemed more for family travelers here for skiing. Nothing wrong with it but the place was a bit dated and needed some freshening up. I was the only business traveler but then again it was the first week in January that I stayed here. There was a workout room that had one treadmill and free weights. Indoor pool was right next door. My room was spacious with living area and bedroom. Coffee pot didn't work in the room but coffee was available downstairs in the breakfast area. Food was not good but passed for convenience only. Not sure I would stay here again for business but for economic family trip focused on skiing it's a good deal.

I am writing today to thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. A hotel is defined by the quality of service it provides, and I want you to know that the comments and suggestions we receive are taken seriously. Your willingness to share your experience is genuinely appreciated. We are currently working on updates to the hotel lobby and hallways areas to improve the quality of the hotel atmosphere. I am happy to hear that your room was spacious and the amenities convenient for you. I hope you will give us another chance to prove that we try very hard to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied.

We've stayed here every year for several years in a row now. Service is good, food is ok, and the location is great. They have shuttles and you can purchase discount lift tickets for some of the resorts.

A lovely hotel, quite private yet close to many activities. Beautiful pool and hot tub and friendly staff. Unique that this hotel offers both a complimentary light dinner and full breakfast. Very pleasant stay and close to freeway entrance and canyons.

We stayed here 1/12/17 - 1/16/17 as a visiting hockey team. This property is a locally owned group of hotels. The Murray property is very cozy, clean and quiet. The rooms are definitely bigger than most standard hotel rooms and decently equipped. The bathroom is a bit on the small side with the tub and toilet occupying most of the space. The dual wash basins are located in the main room and spacious but the glaring florescent lighting makes it difficult when others are sleeping. There is a microwave, fridge to warm up and store your drinks and snacks. There is Directv that offers a lot of channels. Other furnishings include a multi use table for eating, work, etc. A sofabed and a coffee table. There is a dresser/TV console with ample drawer space. Our rooms were double queens with comfortable beds. The pillows are too soft and probably could be replaced.
This location has 4 floors and my recommendation is you request a top floor. The walls and floors are extremely thin and you can hear everything. Unfortunately, we had heavy steppers above us and it literally sounds like a pack of elephants. The furnishings in our room actually vibrated with each step.
The lobby and public areas are rather small and can get claustrophobic and crowded. The picture they post of the fireplace area reminds me of those houses that have cozy firepit areas; small and intimate. This is one area I would downgrade because our party size. During our stay, there were guests who were sensitive to sounds but stayed on the first floor. The hotel reluctantly allowed us to use the dining area since we had pizza but we couldn't make any noise and had to be done by a certain time. We asked if we could use one of the meeting rooms and even stated we would make sure the room would be clean after our use but were denied. I felt the hotel could have been a bit more accommodating to others even though they had a guest who had special accommodations.
The hotel served a complimentary breakfast; what you would expect for hotel fare. The nice surprise is they also offer a complimentary light dinner each night. Definitely a plus. It should be noted that because this is Utah, beer and alcoholic drinks are not permitted in public areas. They take this very seriously.
There is ample parking all around the hotel and access is easy from each area. The location is convenient to major freeway access and roads. Tons of eating choices a short drive in any direction.

Room tip: Ask for a top floor unless your party has a heavy foot.

We spent two nights there for a doctor's appointment in Salt Lake City. The room was very clean, the beds were super firm. We did check out the pool and hot tub, both of which were clean and in good working order. The hot breakfast was served buffet style, and one day had eggs, kielbasa sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal, bread, bagels, and the next day the kielbasa was changed for sausage links and the pancakes had changed to blueberry french toast, the fruit selection varied a bit each day as well. The one evening we were there for the light dinner they served a tossed salad that had a great selection of vegetables chopped up together, with a choice of a couple of dressings available, and a chicken and wild rice soup that was very tasty. I'd never heard of a hotel offering a light dinner included with a stay, this saves a substantial amount of money over dining out for dinner. We will definitely be returning to this hotel for future stays. The room we stayed in was right next to the pool, and we didn't hear any extra noise from people coming & going to & from the pool as I'd feared we would. It is worth it to us to drive the extra few miles to stay at this location over staying in Salt Lake City, as it is so much quieter.
