This Crystal Inn is where we always choose to stay when going to Salt Lake City. First, the rooms are very spacious with a divider between the very comfortable sitting area and the bedroom area. Second, the complimentary hot breakfast is much better than any other hotel in its class. There are scrambled eggs (cooked on site), potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, orange juice, cereal, bread, english muffins, and bagels with topping choices of jam, peanut butter, and cream cheese. Third, it's amazing that they serve a complimentary dinner every evening!!!

Room tip: We always choose a room on the fourth (top) floor away from the ice machine and elevator. It's very quiet.

Crystal Inn was surprised me with its many amenities. Lovely large room with king or two double beds, living room area. Full bath with tub. More than adequate breakfast included, plus courtesy light suppers. Pickup from airport and shuttle transportation. I have stayed at least 4 times and feel like it's my "home away from home". Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Room tip: I prefer the top (4th) floor as there are no children running above me. I have not had anyone making gratuitous noise on either side of me.

This is an older hotel, but it's clean and they strive to please. A simple dinner is served from 5pm - 7pm. We had salad, meatballs, mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. They go all out for breakfast though: cereal, apples, cantaloupe, orange slices, pineapple, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, toast, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam, honey, juice, coffee, tea, mochas, hot chocolate, milk and more! It is served from 6am - 10am.
The bed was comfortable. They sell some frozen food and candy in the lobby. Our room had a fridge, microwave, iron and blow drier. We payed $94 for a two bed room in August. I would stay here again.

We had just arrived from Australia, had not been to Salt Lake City before and our nephew recommended this hotel because it was close to where they live and reasonably priced, with free wi-fi which was just OK. Our room was on the third floor and was a very pleasant surprise as it was quite spacious. Unfortunately the walk along the hallways to our room was very off-putting, the carpet was old and tired and had a fairly unpleasant odour (most hotels throughout America allow dogs in the guest rooms, this hotel certainly does.) The sheets, pillows and towels are all tired and worn and definitely need replacing! I noticed a couple of pieces of "something" on the carpet in our room (which I did not really want to investigate further,) so I mentioned it to Reception as we left the hotel that morning and was advised that it would be cleaned immediately, which it obviously was, because it was certainly gone when we returned, great service.
I have to say that I was always glad to get into our room from the hallways, the condition of the hallways made me quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is included in the room rate, it was adequate, but certainly not great. Fortunately we didn't spend much time at the hotel because we were out with family sight-seeing all day every day and only returned to our room to sleep. This hotel seemed hugely popular and was very busy every night of our stay (five nights,) not sure whether this was because it was school holidays, a lot of the families were wearing baseball outfits and competing so maybe It's close to a sports stadium, not sure.
Being honest, I don't think we would stay here again and wouldn't really recommend it. The place in my opinion needs a good re-furb, new carpets, new manchester, but that's probably not likely to happen because they seem to be almost fully booked every night, so the place is obviously popular with others.

Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. A hotel is defined by the quality of service and amenities it provides. Because our success is measured by how our guests evaluate our services and facilities, I want you to know that the comments and suggestions we receive are taken seriously. We are currently working through projects to update our hotel, lobby, and hallways. I am happy to hear that you were delighted by the service of our staff, and we hope that you will give us another chance to prove that we try very hard to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied.

There was a little store in the reception are, which came handy for us to get some tylenol for our daughter who had a bad cold. The breakfast superb, best so far in all the places we stayed. But it is off interstate highway!

Room tip: "Choose room not close to the main road"
