Really good location for anyone wishing to visit Zion and Bryce if you don't want to stay at the crowded touristy towns just outside the parks. The room was large and well equiped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was 'OK'. This is not an area for fine dining.

Good hotel and close to all attractions/parks in the area. Even golf course (did not play). Sells out quickly on weekends, and would not let me check in early. Hope in gift shop very knowledgable about entire area.
Restaurant OK, typical hotel fare. Eat in Kanab, lots of good choices.
High speed internet not working.

I was there with my husband and we chose this hotel as it was very close to Zion NP and because Best Western is a good brand for the price.
The first impression when you arrive at the hotel is that there is nothing else except the hotel, its restaurant and a gasoline station. The hotel looks very old and more like a motel.
We asked for a restaurant and they told us there was nothing around except the Best Western restaurant! Of course...We found by ourselves one in Kanab a few miles from Mount Carmel which was very nice!
The room was ok but not the cleanest room we have ever had! There were hair on the blankets. The general look of the room seems old.
The breakfast was not included so we took it at the hotel as there was nothing else around. It was very expensive ($30 for 2) to have the same (and even less) as you get normally included in the other Best Western.
We will definitively not stay here again the next time!

The only good things about this hotel is its location between two great National Parks. My husband and I are avid national Park travelers and decided it would be a waste of time to drive back to St George after visiting Zion since we were going to Bryce Canyon in the morning. We decided to pull out our AAA book and pick a new hotel on a whim. This hotel is very dated! I was glad we had brought our own blankets at this point because the beds didn't look inviting at all! This hotel is more like a cheap motel that needs a major face lift! Also the "bathtub" was very strange in this hotel it was very small and shallow. I wouldn't stay here again. Its definitely worth it to pay a little extra for a nice lodge in the parks instead of this dump.

Front desk was friendly, waitress was not. Rooms were clean. Rooms need updating really bad. Went to dinner, food at the restaurant was kinda pricey and just OK . The handicap accessible room we stayed in was not wheelchair accessible. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kanab and it was cheaper and much nicer with a free hot breakfast. I would not stay here again. Free Internet would not stay connected.

I just got back from a trip to Zion/Bryce and stayed at this motel because it was located in between both parks (much closer to Zion than Bryce). The first night wasn't great as we seemed to have neighbors moving furniture around. I complained, but unfortunately the ruckus continued. To be fair, the next day (after our the noisy guests left) I spoke to the front desk and they promised not to occupy the upstairs during our stay, so that was really nice of them as it ensured decent sleep the remainder of our time. The one thing that was a little unsettling was how we were treated in town and at the restaurant. I'm an American of Indian/Pakistani descent and from the suburbs of Chicago. But considering the looks we got from the locals at Thunderbird restaurant, as well as Terry's Food and Drug down the street, you'd think we were from a different planet. One older gentleman at the restaurant gave us the look of death, which would explain why we, a group of Koreans, and an Indian family were seated towards the periphery of the restaurant while all the townies had premium seats. Welcoming diversity is certainly not this place's strong point.

Oh, and there's no complimentary breakfast, which is too bad considering there's almost no place to get a bite. I will agree with another reviewer that the gas station clerk is really nice.
