We started with one night and extended it to three we liked it so much. We stayed in the recently remodeled single level units. Really nice: great beds, clean decor, very quiet. Parking for trailers. You can sit outside your door, overlooking a nice lawn and the rest of the complex below. You're 24 miles to Zion, 60 to Bryce, 20 to Kanab. Very central, but there is Nothing here except a gas station and the Thunderbird restaurant (see reviews). Not the place for everybody but we like clean and quiet and this was a gem.

Room Tip: Go for the single story units.

I think the Thunderbird is a gem too! Thank you!

Your mileage is off, but I appreciate your great review and that you stayed extra days. It is 24 miles to Zion's visitor center, but it's only 12 miles to Zion National Park. Kanab is 17 miles.

On April 30, following my cardiologist advice I, together with my wife, decided to skip the high elevation of the Bryce NP of our bus tour and wait at the Junction of SR 9 & US 89 until the bus comes back on the way to the Zion NP. There were a Gift Shop, a gas station, a Best Western hotel, and almost seven hours of waiting ahead of us. At best, we hoped to rent a hotel room for a half-day. We described our situation to the gentleman at the registration desk. Immediately, he said: "No problem". After brief search on the computer, he suggested to follow him and led us to a newly furnished room with all sorts of amenities. On my question:"How much should we pay?", he simply answered; "Nothing. We are here to take care of people." As we learned later, his name is Mr. Gordon Milligan.. With all the doom and gloom of the rumored American decline, apparently the American spirit is still very much alive, thanks to people like Mr. Milligan.

Large and pleasant room. Comfortable bed. No comp breakfast because there is a restaurant on site - with great service and the food is served HOT and good.

Not a pet friendly hotel.
Has wifi - but it's slow.
It's a great location; between Zion National Park and Page, AZ.

We found the Thunderbird through Tripadvisor, and are we glad we did! The rooms are really great, and the bed was incredible for sleeping. We were lucky enough to find a room that faced the golf course. It had a great little patio where you could sit out back and enjoy the cool breeze of the evening. We picked the Thunderbird to visit Zion, so it was a very great and scenic way to visit the park, but at the end of the day you could wisk away from the crowds in Mt Carmel Junction. The staff was very courteous, and we were most pleased with our stay.

Room Tip: Get a room on the golf course for best value

The beds! That is the center of a hotel room and the reason most of us rent one! They should be comfortable for sleeping. I love your attitude! You think exactly as I do!

Only stayed one night but the room was great and had a fantastic dinner in the the restaurant. would love to come back and stay longer. The area is very beautiful and we really enjoyed see some sights in Mount Zion Park. Our room was at the back and was quiet and had a lovely view.

When the forecast for our second night of camping at Bryce Canyon called for high winds and temps in the 20s, we decided to pack up and look for indoor lodging. Luckily we found the Thunderbird and reserved the last available room. This place has a classic 50-60's atmosphere, but is extremely well maintained. WiFi in the rooms, super comfy beds and microwave. I'm sad we couldn't stay longer and play golf at their 9-hole course (free to guests). The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place near Bryce Canyon or Zion National Parks, try them!

Just a one night stay while on an ATV trip. The rooms are clean, and look to have been recently remodeled. Carpet, furnishings, décor, paint, tile, countertops, flat screen tv all looked new. Breakfast is not included, but the restaurant has good food(I only ate breakfast) but I would have to guess all the meals are good. A couple minor problems, the internet was down the evening I arrived( not the hotels fault). It was up and running in the morning. The heat did not seem to be working, it was a little chilly in the AM but not bad. Overall a good clean comfortable place to stay. If I do this trip again I would stay here. Rooms on the 2nd floor have a small balcony, some rooms over look the pool.

This is a great place to stay for ATV trips with the Coral Pink Sand Dunes just 11 miles away. I am glad you noticed all the money and hard work that we have recently put into our rooms. Thank you for your comment.
