“Offensive prices for awful food”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

I was here with a group of 9 people. We were on a budget and this was going to be our one 'splurge' dinner. Several of us had the pasta which was terrible. It was bow tie pasta which had clearly been sitting out for quite some time and had that rubbery, gummy texture. The marinara sauce was disgusting; thin and tasteless. My bowl had a quarter inch of water in the bottom which added to the overall grossness of this dish. My daughter had an appetizer of chicken wings which came with carrots so old they were white. One of our party had a tuna salad which made her ill. The salad bar was not terrible, but all they had was iceberg lettuce which had also seen better days. The soup/salad bar was included with the meal. Several of our group had the steaks which they thought were not worth the $26.99 price. And adding insult to injury, the pasta was $16.99. I found the food inedible and the prices appalling. Go to the restaurant at the View Hotel. It restored our faith in food.

“Good American & Navajo Food at Good Price”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Enjoyed the food at this restaurant. IT WAS REASONABLE and food service was really good. They had a large menu to choose from. Many good homemade dishes to choose from for both children and adults.

“Good local food”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We decided to eat here because it was lunch time, we wanted to eat local food, and the place looked ok. It was crowded and we had to wait quite a while before our orders were taken and even longer for the food to arrive. We did enjoy are meals, especially the frybread and chile con carne. When you happen to get a table near a window, you get a view over the valley.

“Mediocre dining experience”
Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

There was nothing bad and nothing great about eating here. It is more like cafeteria food than anything else. Decent for a quick bite to eat, but a little pricey for the mediocre food quality. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Tasted ok but chicken piece was so small it didnt even fill up the space in the bun.

“Good lunch stop”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We loved the beautiful pitcher of cold water on the table. We feared service would be slow because a bus tour entered right in front of us, but there were plenty of seats and service was fine. Food was just average ( There seemed to be more croutons than lettuce on the Caesar salad.), but we loved the prickly pear iced tea!
