We booked a back-country tour and mystery valley tour. The back-country is the 17 mile loop that you can drive with your own car but they also take you to an area that is just reserved for people on tours, you get to see some incredible places in the reserved part. We started off a bit uncertain as we could not find our guide in the large parking lot and another tour guide tried to get us to go with him instead but we had their numbers so I called and we met up quickly. Our guide Quanah was wonderful, can't say enough about him. He was taking us on a tour of his backyard and you could tell, he was so knowledgeable about the area and all the history. He told us a lot of his family history in the area and even tried to teach us a few Navajo which I had to write down so I would not forget. We were shocked that in MV we were able to climb up into some of the ruins, absolutely amazing. I had lots of questions before our trip stared and they were all answered in a timely manner and were very informative. Can't say enough about the whole family top notch from beginning to end.
