With so many tours being offered, it was difficult choosing the one tour that would be the best for us. We chose well when we selected Navajo Spirit Tours. Larsen met us at The View lobby and gave us an overview of the Navajo way of life. That was a bonus right there. Then we were off on the tour of Monument Valley. Larsen is informative withour talking too much - it is so quiet that talking seems like the wrong thing to do. He's humorous, knows how to communicate with strangers, and can surprise you musically when you least expect it. This is a great way to experience Monument Valley. The tour is much like walking below the rim of the Grand Canyon. You see things in a very different way. When you see other tour operators along the way - and you'll see plenty - you know that your choice of Navajo was the right one. (Get Larsen if you can - he's teriffic.)

What a magical day! Through Navajo Spirit Tours we opted to take the Monument Valley Tour in the morning and the Mystery Valley Tour in the afternoon. We loved every minute.

Our Navajo guide Harry Nez, was extremely personable, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. And, of the utmost importance, Harry's driving skills are excellent providing for a very comfortable excursion amidst incredible monuments and desert scenery with a few great thrills along the way. Harry imparted Navajo lore and history as well as contemporary information on old Western and recent movies and TV commercials shot in this amazing part of the world.

By day's end, in the crimson glow of the setting sun, the spirituality of Monument Valley was forever imbedded in our hearts.

Thank you Harry - it was a privilege to spend the day with you.

We found Navajo Spirit Tours to be excellent. We had a full day tour with Harry as our guide. He was great fun and told us alot about the history of the Navajos and the valley. Going into areas where only guides can take you felt a great priviledge. We were in a small group, and Harry allowed us all time to ask questions and take photos. We saw other groups with other companies and they seemed to be rushed through the sights and we weren't. Harry played his flute for us which was amazing. We would difinately recommend Navajo Spirit Tours for a really special trip around Monument Valley. They were in the lobby of The View Hotel before the time we were told to meet them. They checked we had got everything we needed eg coats as it was a cold but sunny day. Go with them they won't let you down

This was our 2nd time touring the valley - the the best yet. Our guide Harry was personable, humorous, knowledgeable and customer focused. We toured Monument Valley in the AM (with two other couples), had lunch at the View and then Mystery Valley in the afternoon (just us). Mystery Valley was a new experience and was wonderful. I don't think I would recommend it in-lieu of Monument Valley, but if you have a day to spend, definitely take it. Lots of monuments, ruins and pictographs. Plus, since less than 10% of Valley visitors come here (so says Harry), it's very private feeling. Navajo Spirit Tours ranks high in Tripadvisor - I see why. It's a first rate operation.

An outstanding experience ,probably the highlight of our 3 week driving tour of America. The 2 of us had a personalised and intriguing tour by a local.Nothing was too much trouble for the guide to make our trip so very special. So much better than people slogging around the trail in their own or rented vehicles. We were taken to such special places well off the well beaten tourist track.

Of all the experiences on our travels we treasure this was the one we talk about most.unforgettable.Just book it if you are visiting monument valley. You will not be disappointed.
