Our family arrived here after a drive from Mesa Verde National Park. FAST check in and onto our room with a spectacular view! Check-in was wonderful and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

The inside of the hotel is nicely decorated and I loved all the artwork. We enjoyed seeing the sunset from the chairs provided on the west side of the hotel. Of course, the view from our room was beyond beautiful. My husband and I barely left the balcony since we loved just sitting out there and enjoying the view! I actually woke up at 5:30 am to see the sunrise and it was worth my lack of sleep.

Would have loved to have stayed longer but it was the beginning of our vacation and we had thousands of miles to go!

we spent a few nights at the view hotel during our honeymoon.
The view is breathtaking, the staff is nice and friendly, the service is excellent, the restaurant was one of the best we found during the trip, the rooms are beautiful and clean.

Room Tip: remember to ask for the rooms facing the valley!!

The room we had was facing Monument Valley. We had expected something special on the drive up to the hotel but the view from our room was beyond good. We arrived in the evening and were able to watch the monuments change with the shadows.
We ate in the hotel restaurant - not much choice really. The restaurant was very busy but the staff did their best. The food seemed to be well cooked but not quite to my taste - neither was the lack of wine. Note this hotel is a alcohol free - you can only buy non-alcoholic wines and beers.

Room Tip: You have to get a monument valley view.

The rooms were basic and clean. The in wall ac was bothersome, when on balcony enjoying the view it was noisy and hot. In the room it did not cool very well. The entrances were a little confusing. The restaurant was great food especially local dishes. The staff was young but worked hard. My observation was very little tipping especially the breakfast buffet. Come on appreciate good service and part with a couple of bucks. Took guided tour for three hours and it was not expensive and well worth it. The roads are bumpy but the guide was great. The vehicles are open air so wear clothes to match weather, lots of sun.

Room Tip: top floor has a better view

It's obvious that this hotel's main asset is its prime location. But we also found the staff very forthcoming and friendly. The Wifi worked fine even in our room although we were pretty far from the lobby.
Dinner in the restaurant was fine, service quick. Breakfast was a bit less convincing. Nice gift shop with items you don't find everywhere.
