We stayed in one of the villas at Goulding's Lodge. It was clean and comfortable. There is a large sitting area with a kitchenette and a comfy bed. In addition, there was a separate bedroom. This worked out perfectly for my nephew and I. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, stovetop and microwave, and all the utensils, dishware and pots and pans you will need.

We ate several meals at the dining hall. The food was very good. Nothing fancy, but good selection, well prepared, and with excellent service.

The service was excellent in every facet of Goulding's Lodge. Everyone we dealt with, from the front desk to the dining hall to the tour guide, was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and always helpful.

I highly recommend taking one of their tours. We tooked the 8 hour all day tour. It was superb. My nephew and I travel together three weeks every year. We both agreed that the tour was one of the best things we have ever done together. Our guide, Leland, was knowledgeable about so many things, including the history, geology, culture, geochemistry, and the landscape itself. The tour includes the beautiful scenic loop that goes out from the visitor center, and also includes a great deal of the lands which are not open to the public but are only open to Navajo guided tours. (By the way, Leland is also a great driver. He handled the sandy, rocky roads with ease).

All in all, Goulding's is a great place to stay. I'm already planning my next visit.

It’s all about the location. Views of monument valley are amazing and proximity perfect . It’s a bit old and tired but clean so I recommend it it’s a good place to stay.

The restaurant is below average and could easily be improved with some care and attention from the owners/management.

All amenities were good as you may expect for this price. We thought it was overpriced for sites are very small and close together. But I think this had to do with the popularity of the area. There’s a grocery store, laundry, small indoor pool and several restaurants close to the rv campsite. It’s about five miles to the tribal park and it’s possible to book a tour at the park (we chose another company so can’t tell if they’re good).
Staff isn’t too friendly and helpfull. So all in all, it was okay and would recommend this place but don’t expect too much value for your money.

We stayed here for one night after a long day visiting both Antelope Canyon, Glen Dam and Monument Valley. Arrived well after dark. Our self contained unit was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable - a great night’s sleep. Nice shower - plenty of hot water.Cannot say much more about the facilities. We left the next morning at dawn. Thanks for your hospitality.
