The Monticello is an older motel, but it has been kept up well. The rooms were nicely appointed with a flat screen TV, small refrigerator, microwave oven, and a coffee pot with coffee fixings. The room was clean and there was ample storage. Wi-Fi coverage seemed good with 3 access points, and measured about 3 Mbps down stream and 0.5 Mbps up.
For the price, this has been the best value so far on our trip. A really bad Motel 6 in Page, AZ cost more than twice than this place, and you could barely get a dial up speed internet connection there.
The office staff was friendly and made recommendations about where to eat and which sites to visit.
I would stay here again should I be in the area.More
