This hotel is great. The service we received when checking in and out was amazing and the property was well kept and inviting. The pool was probably our kids' favorite part because of it having an indoor section connected to the outdoor. You would expect the water to be cold but it was so warm and tons of room so we were not crowded by everyone. My favorite part is the wellness center by far. I absolutely loved the steam room as well as the dry sauna. It was extremely relaxing and great to have an age limit so that others would be able to enjoy it without kids running around. The only thing I didn't find quite as nice as everything else was the bistro dinner place in the hotel. It's very over priced and doesn't have a lot of options or quick service. The food was nice though, it just was a lot of money for what you got. Other than that, our stay was great and I plan on staying there again in the future... I'll just probably go elsewhere for breakfast is all.

This property is in a lovely location with potential for a much better rating - but we found several things that really let us down. Starting with a less than friendly front desk staff, I am not really particular and even feigned friendliness would be acceptable, but the front desk staff here seemed unhappy and annoyed. Then - bugs ...the window sill in our room contained several dead Box Elder bugs and even though I left the window shades open when we left for the day, it wasn't until the 3rd day that they were cleaned up, there were also ants in the bathroom when we arrived(during a very cold winter stay), and trash behind the chair in the corner of the room. It makes you wonder how clean the room really is after the daily "cleaning"! If you are arriving after 9 PM, you better get something to eat before then, nothing on-site after 9 except vending machines. Decor - less than impressive barely 3-star rated, On the positive side - the bell staff and shuttle drivers were pleasant and helpful, and again the location is nice! (and the pizza at the on-site restaurant is very good). Not likely to stay there again unless no other options are available.

Room Tip: Maybe try the Homestead - sister property down the road.

We stayed as a family for an evening a we enjoyed the great winter offerings of Midway. The kids loved the pool. It really was amazing. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. We were greeted with the option of smores for the kids on fires set outside. Unfortunately we were given a room near the industrial area for the hotel. It was very loud through the night, so sleep was poor.

Room Tip: A way from the industrial area. Would probably stay away from odd numbered rooms from 25-35 on each...

Great place, people, facility and food. I was in the Villa building, which was a bit of a hike to the front desk. The property is nearly 30 min from the Park City Ski Area, and police are really visible and are everywhere. The speed limits posted are at least 10 mph too low for the road quality, so what should be a 20 min ride normally becomes 30, The food in the main dining area is excellent and very reasonable. Rooms are good sized and have everything you need, including free wifi. Front desk is very helpful, if sometimes crowded. Definitely less expensive than if the property was close to the ski areas, but still not what I would consider cheap. Town of Midway is very cute, but not much for tourists to do.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms in the main hotel if available. The other building is a 10 min walk, including going...

Can I just say WOW! We booked a night at the Zermatt for our anniversary because my husband found a Groupon, and boy am I glad he did! Check in was smooth. The front office manager checked us in and was very helpful. Made recommendations for dinner, To Dos in town, was made aware of our anniversary and definitely made it special for us! Our room was AMAZING! Very romantic! The TV was a little dated ... But who needs it at such a beautiful establishment! Hotel service was great. Ate at Z's steak and chop haus, WORTH EVERY PENNY. Took a bit of time to get our food, but I would also say WORTH THE WAIT! We ordered all the house specials on the menu and we were very very pleased. Ate breakfast at the bakery and again ... WOW! I really had no complaints about our stay. I am trying to come up with a reason to leave the kids with a sitter and "Get Away" again! Thank you for making our anniversary something we will remember and cherish for years to come!

We stayed at the Zermatt Resort in early Dec 2013, while attending a seminar. Zermatt exceeded expectations... We loved it! My husband traveled extensively in Europe on business, and said Zermatt really did feel authentic. Built to resemble a Swiss village, the architecture, landscaping, and interior decor all felt like the real thing. There is a good bakery/cafe, a sports shop, & two restaurants on site. The lobby had a welcoming fire blazing in an enormous 2-story carved wooden hearth. Check-in & service was great, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was spacious, with kitchenette, large immaculate bathroom, very comfortable beds. Room heating was ample and blessedly SILENT! We were in the main building, near the Spa. Group room rate was $109, which we felt was quite reasonable, especially during ski season. The hotel was very quiet midweek, until Friday night, when large groups checked in. We ate every night at Matty's Bistro, which was a very pleasant surprise - excellent food, nice variety, inexpensive, and not crowded. Highly recommend this hotel - we would gladly return.

Room Tip: Request a room in the main building.

From the time we stepped foot on the property we were treated like royalty! Every staff member went above and beyond! Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The food at both restaurants on the property was great!

I highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: My corner room on the bottom floor with a fireplace was great! Not much of a view however but it was...
