We traveled for one month in June across the United-States. Almost every night we stayed in a different hotel or B&B. I can safely say we can be good judges of the quality of the service, sleep and accommodation. When we got to the B&B in the Valley of the gods we were enchanted. You might feel it’s a little far to get there (especially if it’s an extremely windy day and you drive a motorcycle) but it’s worth it. Everything is perfect. The rooms are spotless with all the little details that make it feel homey. The huge stone walls give a sense that you could be protected from the worst weather. You can definitely have a peaceful night. The next day we got up at 5:15am to watch the sunrise (magical) and later we had a very good breakfast on the porch with the other guests with plenty of food, great conversation and great coffee. We highly recommend that B&B and would definitely stay there again.

Staying at the VoG BB was the perfect way to spend our midway point in Monument Valley and Valley of the Gods. Claire and Gary are gracious hosts and the traditional pueblIan breakfast of corn, squash, and beans was wonderful. In fact our 9yr old daughter said the stay was her favorite part of our whole 2 week vacation which included the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone.

We stayed two nights. Surprisingly gourmet yet healthy breakfasts. Evenings were primarily spent outside sitting and talking on the expansive comfortable covered front porch/veranda. Gary and Claire could not have been more hospitable. One huge perk is that they make sure coffee is available to enjoy while watching the dawn. We were the only ones that took advantage of it... but the dawns were pretty excellent.

We went during an unseasonably hot June. The stone house with thick walls (and no air-conditioning) was crazy cool and quite comfortable. When entering the house it really felt like it had hiding somewhere. I'm glad to see that there are now several pictures posted that help demonstrate just how unique this BnB is. It was a great unique lodging experience that we won't soon forget!

I feel incredibly lucky to have found it, since it's not listed on Tripadvisor as a place to stay when at Monument Valley. If you're going into Monument Valley for a Navajo guided tour. then set aside 45 minutes to comfortably meet up with your guide. Everybody will tell you 30 minutes - but don't believe them.

We only stayed for the one night on the way up to Moab and stayed in the separate outhouse building. It was very peaceful with no civilisation within view. It is at the bottom of some cliffs with a fantastic view across the valley of the gods. The is no air conditioning but even so the bedroom was underneath (pretty much underground) and was very cool, despite the heat outside. The building had its own porch so you could sit and watch the sunset. The b&b has a very friendly atmosphere and there was other couples staying at the same time, the owner (Claire) introduced me and my wife to everyone and we spend the evening chatting. Compared to the hustle and bustle of our previous stops it was nice to slow down here. There are some fantastic roads about with ace views, we did not drive the valley of the gods roads and instead went up the switchback (which had a good view across the valley)

Room Tip: The separate building was a nice and has a view of the sunrise from the bedroom and your own persona...

This bed and breakfast is located at the end of the Valley of the Gods road. It is all by itself many miles from any other home or business.
The owners Claire and Gary are excellent hosts offering insight into where to eat, places to see and what to do.
The house is exceptionally clean, and that is saying something in this dusty environment. It is unique with quiet rooms with beam ceilings and local rock walls. Very quiet.
Breakfasts are interesting and excellent. They use local and organics where available. The house is off grid using wind and solar. The area to beautiful to describe. We like it in the spring when the flowers are in bloom. On a clear moonless night the sky is beautiful, not glare from cities, just stars and stars and more stars.
Coffee is made early and is awaiting guest who arise for the sunrise. Just sit on the veranda and listen to the silence. No cars, trucks, engines, just a bird or two.
This is a truly unique and wonderful place.

Room Tip: The main house rooms are all great. If you are adventurous, try the fruit celler. This is a detach...

I echo what just about everyone has posted thus far. I will add adjectives like "surreal" and "sublime" because these are what this fabulous treasure is and the hosts/owners are as friendly, accommodating and courteous as anything you'll find at a five (5) star Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons property. You see, the difference here is that this place is SO much better (for many reasons and if you're fortunate enough to experience, you'll know why) and the surroundings that much more celestial and aesthetically unreal. Being able to explore, at your own pace, with very few people around (sometimes none at all) you, will make you feel as though you're just one with nature, I guarantee it, especially if you take the 17 miles Valley of the Gods drive starting at the bed & breakfast property line. Incredible!

The lodging is fantastic in a quaint and somewhat rustic yet high-tech solar environment with stone showers, a beautiful inside living room along with a sprawling outside "living room" spanning the entire front porch. Views are what you would expect and the breakfast simply delicious. Claire boasts that she makes great coffee and it is warranted for it is true. Crisp and fresh and just right. You will wake up to wonderful aromas from the kitchen. Savory stuff. Claire and Gary give you the privacy that you may want and you'll only see them from time to time so you feel as though you kind of have the "run of the house", if you will.

I can't wait to return and want this gem and best kept secret to remain just that. Awe-inspiring experience!

You will be amazed, I promise you. ;)

Room Tip: Be sure to read the journals of past guests and add your own experiences as well.

This is a fantastic place to visit in incredible surroundings, the rooms are first rate and the welcome and hospitality is fantastic. Our hosts supplied us with information about the area, provided an excellent breakfast to follow a fantastically comfortable nights sleep in first rate rooms. If you wish to visit somewhere with perfect seclusion, this is the place for you. both Claire and Gary make you feel 'at home' in their home, which is the best compliment I can offer.
I also recommend checking for sunrise & sunset times and to walk out under an unblemished sky to look up to the stars, amazing.
