“Great place to stay in a small town”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

This was a great place to stay--loved the Northwoods decor & log furniture--very tastefully done!!
It was very quiet & comfy, though we were there first part of Sept., so not sure how it would be in the middle of summer.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

Ms. Elaine runs a tight ship, which makes it nicer for the next people who stay.
This is a great place to stay. Large rooms, soft beds, 2 TV's and Extremely Clean.
Well worth the money, I'm very glad that we choose to stay at
R-Hideout Inn. I checked out the other places in Manila we were considering, they were crackerboxes. I'm so glad I choose
R-Hideout, extremely pleased.
Ms. Elaine is friendly and makes you feel at home.
We will definately stay there again in the future.

R-hideout has good sized rooms. There is a barbecue area but you need to bring your own stove and kitchen equipment. They provide a sink and a refrigerator inside the rooms. It would be good if a few simple things like washing detergent were supplied, at least a few of the items that are easy to forget when you are travelling. Manila is a nice little town although its quite a drive to some of the main attractions in the area.

What an amazing place to stay. From the hospitality of the owners, Elaine and Brent, to the comfort of the cabins. The cabins were very clean, spacious and up to date. We were on a bike (motorcycle) trip with two other couples. We ended up arriving late, in the dark, upon arrival Elaine had been calling, looking for us and was there immediately to greet us with a hug, a smile and a much needed bed.
I would definitely recommend this for any trip to the Flaming Gorge area. You won't find a better place!

The cabins are located on Hwy 43 in the wilderness close to the Wyoming/Utah border. I believe they are about a year young and the owner has done a great job in decorating this home away from home. She will greet you with a great big bear hug and make sure your stay is comfortable. The cabins are fresh and extremely clean and cozy. There is a small fridge with a little freezer, table with two chairs, coffee and tea service, shampoo and soap, hair dryer, small living space with huge TV and a pretty good sized real cozy bedroom with TV and big fluffy pillows. A little bit of heaven! You have few choices in this neck of the country and you cannot go wrong with R-Hideout. The owner loves her business and her visitors and it shows. Be careful though she will talk your ear off!

Room Tip: The whole property is top notch and any room would be A+. There are larger rooms for familys so mak...

Front view is of the parking lot and people can see in if you open the blinds. Small back windows in bedroom look out onto a cow pasture or the road depending on which side you get. This is not a "view spot" of Flaming Gorge. You've got some driving to do to get to the water. The rooms are large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The front living room space is nice. We had a nice spot to gather once the sun went down and our little group needed to go indoors.

It is clear the owners care deeply that a "good as new" feel to the place is maintained.

Room Tip: Ask for the "cow pasture" side, that way you are not on the road noise side if it is busy...
