“Great value”

Beautiful, lots of really beautiful runs, not overly crowded. Got cross country skis for Christmas wanted someplace fairly quiet to give it a try. Awesome try to go mid- week

“Fun ski resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Fun ski resort locally owned and operated for many years. This is where our kids learn to ski and definitely where the locals ski. Lower cost than the big guys in Salt Lake area. Only 30 minutes up Logan Canyon from Logan, Utah.

“The Beav--A Well-Kept Secret Guaranteed to Please”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

I skied Beaver Mountain--"The Beav" to locals--for 40 years before deciding to hang 'em up because of age-related problems. Since the area was enlarged some years back, there are two mountains involved and all the varieties of terrain any skier could want. Maybe just as important, there are 3 triple chair lifts, a double, and almost never lines to interrupt your enjoyment. Family owned for more than 50 years, The Beav has a nice day lodge, decent food, and easy accessibility just 35 minutes from the town of Logan or from the resorts at beautiful Bear Lake. And the cost of a day pass? Half the price, even less, than at Utah's major resorts out of Salt Lake City.

“Excellent Value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

small resort with one of the top lifts in the state terrain, the kiddy lift terrain is not optimum as it steep the first half and flat the second half. Marges lift is poor for terrain but it has a terrain park that is very popular with the snow boarder and young skiers. overall it is a great value! Hot ticket is to go on a week day, ski right on the lift, seldom any lines, Saturdays are very busy.
