“Excellent place for lunch”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

I went here for a business lunch last week and was very please. I had the Tomato Bisque, which was very good, and then the steak sandwich which was outstanding. They put fresh basil on the sandwich and the meat was very, very tender.
They also serve a delicious, fresh bread with the lunch, and it was all that I could do not to devour the whole thing.
The service was also great. We sat out on the patio, where we enjoyed a nice breeze on a beautiful day. I look forward to returning.

“A Beautiful Lunch”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

Delicious food and a beautiful view make for a perfect lunch spot. You have to catch the Trellis Cafe when it is open -- only during the April through September dates when the Thanksgiving Point Gardens are in bloom. If it is beautiful weather, as it often is during a Utah summer, you can sit at the umbrellaed-tables on the terrace overlooking the gardens which are fantastic. If it's too hot or rainy, the interior is also a beautiful place. I've had lots of the sandwiches, salads and daily quiches there along with sweet potato fries and haven't had a bad meal yet. I especially love the Tomato Basil Soup with Asiago Cheese Crostini, the Roasted Chicken Club and Chocolate Silk or Lemon Berry Tart for dessert.

“One of the best kept dining secrets in the area!”
Reviewed September 11, 2011

Our family visits this restaurant often - many times a week sometimes - during the summer season when it's open. (By the way...it's only open for lunch) The prices are very fair (Between $8 and $12) for basically everything on the menu. The Greek Salad and Trellis Salad are favorites along with the Steak Sandwich and an impressive Garden Burger. The Tomato Bisque soup is the best I've ever tried anywhere. Incredibly light and flavorful. They also bring out amazing baskets of fresh warm bread and the sweet potato fries are a must! The staff is extremely friendly. Call for reservations and request a seat near the patio edge for the best views just in case its busy. Indoor seating is fine....but if at all possible eat outside!
