“Nice course, good condition”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Played a few courses in my time globally, seen some shabby and seen some glorious, this is a good course, nice setting and challenging and still fun. Can be very windy. Would recommend this course again..

“Excellet golf course that is slightly mismanaged”
Reviewed July 2, 2012 via mobile

Thanksgiving Point Golf Course presents itself as a upper-end golf facility and the course design is certainly consistant with this. However, several issues occured the day we played that you would only expect from a lower-end muni. First, all of the water coolers on the course were empty (every single one). It was a 100 degree day and we started at 2:00 pm. The resturant was closed this day as well, so no drinks or food were avalible for purchase. Second, no marshall was on the course to move play along so the fivesome (3 adults an 2 kids) in front of us felt no concern about playing multiple balls and giving lessons to the kids in their 5 1/2 hour golf marathon. Although there were no marshalls on the course, there were plenty of other club-house staff goofing around on the course (racing golf carts, practicing on empty holes, ect). Lastly, and really a minor issue, most of the sand bunkers we very wet from the sprinkler system (there had not been any rain for weeks). I don't mind playing from heavy wet sand, but there is no reason it needs to be this was- just adjust your sprinklers like every other quality golf course does.

Again, nice design with excellent facilities, but a little mismanaged and not worth the $75 per person we paid.

“Very well maintained, fun to play”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

The course is always well maintained. I have now played over a dozen times. I never get bored. Lots of challenges. The course is long, but manageable. I love the decisions the course layout forces you to make. How much of an angle can I take on my Drive and still make it over the raven/water/rough? Greens are always nice. Beautiful course. Bring water...

“Take it from one who is on the course weekly”
Reviewed January 16, 2012

I work on this course and live in front of it, need I say more. It is so beautiful, I have never had anyone be unsatisfied. The owners are amazing men and make sure everyone is taken very well care of. If you have not been to this course, put it on your list of must do's, you won't be disapointed.
