I have no complaints and recommend this as an excellent choice for a somewhat special occasion or when looking for a meal that is a bit above most restaurant fare. Portions are large, but not huge, and we split an entree which worked out fine since we added an appetizer (their really excellent spinach-artichoke dip) and got an extra salad.

Prices are a bit on the high side, but not outrageous, and you get your moneys worth in terms of quality. The steaks are especially recommended. If you want a really good meal, and not on a tight budget, this is an excellent choice. However if with a group looking for something cheaper, there are other choices nearby.

Their location can be hard to find with some GPS systems, but it is right next to the Hilton Garden Inn which may be easier to locate, It is towards the north end of the Layton Mall area with numerous hotels and other restaurants nearby.

As a local, I was unfamiliar with Corbin's until looking for a restaurant for our anniversary. I was surprised that I was not aware of Corbin's. There are not very many (if any) other fine dining restaurants in this area. The service was excellent as was the food. My wife had a very good steak and I had a great seafood dish. Everything was done perfectly. It has a very nice atmosphere and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening. I would definitely return here with business clients or for other special occasions. I am looking forward to trying it for lunch.

The food at this restaurant was great but that's not all. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, comfortable and has a classy feel to it.

We were recommended to eat dinner at this restaurant by the manager at our nearby hotel (who gave us a card, requesting a complimentary appetizer). We had the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which came as an extremely generous helping and was delicious. I had the Seafood Risotto, and my wife had the Lemon Salmon. We had a side helping of Caesar Salad. Service was good, but our waitperson, Thomas, needs to learn to really LISTEN to his customers, as some of our requests and instructions were not followed. Servings were so generous that we had no room for dessert.

Our hostess planned an evening meal for us here, having been several times before and found it very good. However, our experience was quite poor. We had to wait 10 minutes before anyone realised that although we had been seated, no-one had taken our order for drinks. Ten minutes later than that we finally had our drinks. We complained and the waitress said there had been a change of management, which perhaps explained the problem. The manager came over and apologised saying he had been called away.
The food was only barely warm and not of the highest quality.
We hope this was only a temporary aberration and that subsequent visitors will have a better experience than we did.
