“Beautiful new hotel”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

This hotel is just a few months old and it is very nice. Beautiful dark black hardwood floor, granite counter tops, big room (we had 2 queen beds) and bathroom. Lots of outlets on lamps so easy to charge all your electronics. Very quiet area and we overlooked the grassy area. Very clean and the bathroom was well stocked with even makeup remover pads. Microwave and refrig were good size too. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, waffles, hash browns, sausage, bacon plus all the other normal items. Front desk people were very helpful. Good location with restaurants all around it plus movie theatre and mall.

I was blown away by this hotel! After 8 days on the road and 8 other hotels, this was a sight for sore eyes. For starters it was one of the lowest price hotels we stayed at our whole trip through Utah, Nevada, Suth Dakota and Woming. And I have to say it was worth a lot more than we paid!

The room was immaculate. The bathroom was cleaned to perfection! The decor was beautiful. It felt very upscale, and the beds, oh my the beds! They are heavenly. Best night sleep I'd had in 8 days. Oh, and outlets - there are outlets galore! I was very surprised at how many hotels we stayed at that had no accessible outlets in the room. With four people's electronics to charge every night, we need outlets, and this hotel has the awesome outlets on the lamp bases so you don't have to crawl on the filthy foor under a piece of furniture to find one. The tv was brand new, flat screen incredible picture quality. Room was extremely quiet. The bathtub is pretty slippery, but I'd rather have a slippery clean tub than a sticky filthy one!

Door keys were really neat, rather than inserting them you simply tap the key by the handle and it unlocks, super easy!

Breakfast was great, hoot foods, cold foods, pastries, etc. Nice big clean breakfast room with a tv running the news. Staff kept everything stocked and clean. The pool area was very clean and nice, unfortunately we got I so late we didn't have time to use it but it looked very inviting.

Lobby is big and beautiful, with ice water and a little convenice counter where you can buy treats, food and toiletries you forgot.

Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Walking distance to many restaurants is a plus!

I just wish we could have stayed a few days here, but we got in late and hit the road early. I would definitely come back!

Room Tip: Rooms are not super close to parking, but the hotel is small enough every room is pretty convenient.

I'm a local. We decided to get away from our kids for the night. I had never been to any of the hotels but I live close enough just went to check a bunch of them out. I looked at rooms with a single king/queen bed, sat on the beds, looked at the bathrooms and also checked out the pool/ammenities areas. This one topped them all.

It is the newest hotel in the area. It has a nice lobby, the staff, on all occasions were very nice. We used the pool and hot tub, they were great and a good temp.

We got a slightly larger room with king bed plus a sleeper sofa, chair, ottoman, small dining table with 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, dresser, and large tv. The bed and pillows very very nice (part of the reason I picked this hotel). The bedding was modern with a great down comfortor. The bathroom was good sized and immaculatly clean. There was a coffee maker and good selection of toiletries (like make-up removing towelettes). They have indiviually wrapped cups in the room. There was not a spot or stain anywhere in the room. The room was also very quiet even with multiple guest staying in rooms nearby. (the Hampton was the only hotel where I could hear everything. Most hotels were quiet as well.)

The breakfast area was very nice. Nice table, they have a large tv on the wall with the morning news on. They had a selection of juices, water, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, etc. They had waffle makers with a regular or blueberry waffle batter. They were yummy. They had 2 hot , covered, serving platters with sausage, bacon, eggs and hash brown (but the crispy mcdonald type). They had bagels (but were empty when we were in there), cream cheese, jams, cereals, and yogurt. There was 1 or 2 staff constantly stocking and checking on things in the dining room. Our check-out was easy with no problems.

We requested a room on the top floor with a view to the north because there is a nice green park like space. We didn't even know it was there and we drive by it all the time. If you get a south facing room you will be looking at the parking lot, resturant, the mall and other commercial buildings. We paid $108 for the larger king room with sofa/dining/fridge (saturday night, memorial weekend). (standard rooms were $99)

Last note: the WEEKENDS are ALWAYS cheaper at all area hotels! Many hotels offered me a better price in person than I found ANYWHERE online! Most hotels were quoting me $99 regardless of what the standard price was. Very big selection of good restarants within walking distance. Feel free to write if you want a locals review of dining. We have eaten all over the city. Lagoon is only 2 exits south down I-15 like a 10min drive.

Room Tip: Get a top floor facing north for good views of the green space and surroundings.

This is a beautiful hotel with a well run staff, from front desk to breakfast, This location next to the mall has so many restaurant choices, you can't go wrong. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms spotless.
No noisy a.c. unit here either, it is controlled by a wall thermostat which worked great in the 95 degree weather we had while there. beautifu lview from our third floor room of the lake and the Wasatch front, very little freeway noise.

I stayed here for 3 nights in June. The hotel is very convenient to the highway but you don't hear the highway noise. Easy drive to SLC Airport and to Hill AFB. There are restaurants all around the property, so driving is not necessary at night! The breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly. I liked how nice and clean the hotel was too! Each room has a mini fridge which is always a nice plus! The beds and pillow were also very good! Would stay here again!
This hotel also offers a nice military discount!

Room Tip: My room, 329, was nice and sunny, and right by the exit so it was easy to just head out down the sta...

We stayed here for a week at the end of May. This hotel is fantastic in every way! Super clean rooms and bathrooms, quality towels, great indoor pool, and delicious breakfast The staff was superb and friendly. And the price was amazing! Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the rooms each day. I don't have one negative to say about this property. This hotel and staff are gems and my family will stay here again the next time we are in Utah.

Stayed at this hotel over one weekend 1-3 June. Nice hotel just built last year. King bed room was great. Typical make your own breakfast in large and clean breakfast room. They have two computers for guests to use in the lobby and thee was no problem gettting service there. Right next to a large shopping center - two movie complexes within a block and several restaurants nearby. Convenient to freeways and ten minutes to small airport serviced by Allegiant Airlines.
Definitely would consider staying there again.
