This charming lodge is a gem. The owner has nailed every detail. The room has everything you need to rest and relax after a day of travel and or hiking. Sitting by the fire pit with a bottle of wine visiting with fellow travelers or just taking in the beautiful scenery is a must. The only bug we caught was the bug to travel here again!

Travis and Gordon treat their guests as friends. They have amazing local knowledge. Their help planning day trips and their recommendations for local entertainment and dinning were invaluable. The rooms are inviting and incredibly comfortable and stepping out the door every morning to the spectacular views is the best way to start your day. The Canyons Lodge is a perfect place to base yourself to see the best Kanab and surrounds has to offer. Thank You Gordon and Travis we will visit again.
We had a lovely stay at Canyons Lodge. Travis was extremely friendly and a really good host. The lodge was a convenient place to stay to visit Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Also enjoyed a visit to the little Hollywood museum
Stayed at Canyons Lodge for a night in September after a visit to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (which was amazing by the way). Travis and his gorgeous husky pup were incredibly welcoming and helped us in a myriad of ways (reservations at the restaurant next door, directions to the liquor store, etc.) After dinner, we had a lovely time sitting by the firepit and chatting with Travis. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Travis - it was a real pleasure to meet a former Seattleite and glad you have such a great home & lodge in Kanab! We hope to return!
This hotel was a great place to stay for two nights as we visited Bryce Canyon National Park and many other hikes / parks very close to Kanab. We were greeted by Abby who showed us to our room and gave us a bunch of great tips about what Kanab has to offer! There were four of us and we used the complimentary bikes both nights to bike to dinner (bikes were comfy and both rides were under 10 minutes). We went to Wild Thyme and Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen for live music and great food. To end both nights we enjoyed drinking wine by the fire in comfy chairs under the Catalpa Tree with beautiful lights hung. The hotel isn’t fancy but very cute, cozy, and well taken care of. We would recommend this hotel as a place to stay if your traveling through Kanab. Hope to stay again soon!
