It costs $6. Per car. There is a viewing stand for those interested in watching. If you want to rent atvs then call in advance. The sand is perfect for a walk in bare feet. We took some amazing pictures of blue sky, red sand and happy children. The drive is very scenic and the sand is beautiful.

once you can find the place to be and pay for the entrance fee its well worth it. The sand dunes are so much fun to play around in and they are never ending! you can also see Zion Canyon from some areas.

I was really excited to see the dunes, and they're definitely cool. The sand is a deep, coppery red hue. However, they're not that extensive and there's nothing else there. Also, there were a lot of ATVs tooling about, which kind of ruined the serenity of the place. It was interesting for about 15 minutes and that's it.

The dunes are great and we were the first people that morning to be there to photograph sunrise. However, the ATV tracks and some human foot prints to spoil the serenity of the place. On the way, we saw tons of wild deer and hares. It was fun.

What a beautiful and amazing place. I have never seen anything like it. The sand was so soft, although not very pink. But I found that if the sand gets wet, then it is very pink!
