“Fantastic Adventures Into the True Wild SW”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2012

I usually like to do my adventuring solo, sans guide, but this experience with Will/Dreamland Safari Tours convinced me that going with an experienced (& licensed) Guide who truly loves the land he lives in is great. We did the White Pockets & Wire Pass Slot Canyon Tour (Will creates day or multiple day tours that cater to various interests - can't get into The Wave? Do the amazing White Pockets. Don't want the rush of traffic at Antelope Canyon? Do a day of other spectacular slot canyons...like pictographs?). I really really liked his down to earth approach to visiting sites, he can stop his truck in a second if he sees an interesting snake or plant that he thinks his clients are interested in -- all in all, this critical judge sees him as a highly personalized and personable Guide that I highly recommend.

“Not to be missed if you are in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2012

Dreamland does a fantastic job of truly helping you experience the wonders of the North Rim, Escalante, and the Vermillion area. Will's knowledge of the region and the local flora/fauna made this a truly memorable experience, and their willingness to customize a tour to meet our specific interests was just what we had been looking for. Thank you Will and Meghann for a wonderful day of exploration and adventure!

“Accommodating, friendly, tours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2012

What a great crew at Dreamland Safari Tours!. They really worked with us to customize a tour to meet our requirements and suit our our limitations. Will, the owner, went out of his way in communicating with us by phone and by email to figure out just what we could and could not do. Gretchen, our guide for the day, was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and about the points of interest we elected to see. With one of us wanting visually compelling geological formations worthy of photography and the other of us wanting to learn more about the flora and geology of the region as well as to see as many petroglyphs as we could with limited mobility, she was very flexible at making us both happy. She is a great listener, to boot. The staff were friendly and helpful whether talking about the bill or planning the itinerary. We took the Mystical Slot Canyon tour (Red/Peek-a-boo Canyon) plus some add-ons and were very happy; it's a beautiful area..

“White Pockets and Wire Pass”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2012

From the moment we were met by Will in his Surburban our trip to the Vermillion Cliffs was beyond our expectations. The drive to White Pockets was over a dirt back road, on which we would never consider taking our SUV. It was definitely worth the bumpy ride, which was eased when Will let some air out of the tires of the Surburban. The sand on this road is like silica, in some places over a foot deep and we were impressed with his driving in these conditions. White Pockets is breathtaking, I have never seen such glorious rock formations. After a lunch of salads and sandwiches we then continued our drive and then hiked to Wire Pass. It was a fabulous day and we are definitely going back.
Definitely bring good walking/hiking shoes, suntan lotion (it was warm) and of course a good camera!

“one of the best family holidays ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2012

We spent 6 days with Will doing the "mobile B&B" - 2 parents, 2 university students, 2 kids of 13 and 11. We all agreed that it was one of the best family trips we have done. Will took the germ of an idea, found out what we were interested in and suggested an itinerary. It was all very smooth in the organisation. We visited some amazing places - the Mojave reserve, Death Valley, various beautiful spots around Kanab, Zion National Park, some even more beautiful spots in South Coyote Buttes. We saw dinosaur footprints and rock art; deer, bighorn sheep, condors and wildflowers. We were absolutely blown away by how stunningly beautiful South Utah/North Arizona is. The camping was fun (and the food was good) and gave us a little taste of the wilderness; and Will coped seamlessly with food allergies, one sprained ankle a week before we travelled and changes of plan by us.
Will was enormously well informed about geology, flora and fauna, weather, and all the areas we went to. He was also enthusiastic about the wonderful area he is guiding guests to, and has a great sense of humour! He and his girlfriend Meghann are just very, very nice people and I couldn't recommend this highly enough. I'd love to do another tour to some even wilder places. Thanks Will from all of us
