My family and I travel to St. George just to spend time at Sand Hollow. We enjoy playing in the sand as well as 4 wheeling there. Great place for everyone to enjoy the day & clean bathrooms with flush toilets.

Great place to catch some desert bass! We went fishing right in the middle of the winter. It was so much fun I love this lake and will be back very soon.

It is worth the $6 day fee to atleast drive through. There are hikes for all levels, rock climbing and playing in the sand dunes. Our kids like to take their beach toys to play in the sand.

We camped here over Memorial Day in 2012. We were very lucky when it comes to the weather - a cold front had just come through and the temperatures were cool. We rented a 4-seater ATV for the day and spent the WHOLE day riding around in the dunes and on some trails behind the dunes. If you do this, make sure you have a map! We had a map and still had trouble finding our way back, had to climb up a HUGE hill to get back into the park! The water was crystal clear, but it was kind of windy and being near the water felt like being in a sandblaster. People did have boats out on the water after the wind died down. Not sure what you would do in the park if you have no ATV or boat, but this campsite is close to Zion State Park. We spent 1 day hiking around Zion. Also people get swimmers itch here quite often so be careful!
