We stayed here for 3 nights - it was close to all areas (Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, & Grand Canyon) Our room was a kitchenette which was old but well stocked with plates etc. The owners provided 3 outdoor gas grills which worked well and there was no extra charge for using them. The manager kept the pool spotless! Very, very nice place to stay if you are looking for a bargain with family!

We expected Hurricane to be a very small town with only one motel, but were surprised how "big" it was. The Motel Six too was quite a surprise. It looked very attractive and welcoming and the room with two queen beds was clean and comfortable.

Before I had found the room's cooling unit I had worried we might have to spend a hot night since the fan in the room was loosely connected to the ceiling and made a lot of noise due to wobbling. Fortunately we did not have to use it and had the cooler on instead (which was a bit noisy too, but at least it kept the room at a good temperature)

We had looked forward to using the pool but found its size quite disappointing. It's more a "dunking" hole to cool off in than than a pool to swim in. The pool side towels are a nice service. So was the refrigerator in the room. I missed a coffee maker in the room.

I liked the landscaping with trees and the grassy area by the pool with some tables and chairs and even a couple of grills.
Across the street within walking distance is a new movie theater with at least 4 screens! Be sure to use the crosswalks though, as traffic can be quite heavy.

Although Motel Six has never been my personal first choice for staying the night, this one was quite pleasant, new and clean.

I booked this hotel after looking it up on this site. We were travelling from Canada to see the canyong in the area. I reserved the room about a month ahead of time.

The first room we were given was dirty. It was a kitchenette-I opened a cupboard to almost have the whole door come off onto my head. The cupboards, fridge, stove, had grease/dirt all over them. The fridge handle was broken off. Despite the fact it was a kitchenette, there were no utensils or dishes in the kitchen to use so it was completely useless! There was mold in the bathroom, the room smelled, and everything looked run down.

We went to the front desk and said we weren't happy with the room so we said we'd go somewhere else. The person offered us another room-assured us that it was new, said not to worry, he'd make everything okay. He gave us the key to a suite. The kitchenette in that room was also dirty-the fridge was disgusting and had the last guest's beer in it. The cable going to the tv was frayed so that it hardly worked. The bedding was really worn. The only plus was that the bathroom was more passable and the room was bigger.

We decided that despite the deficiencies, that we could make do. However, when I told the manager, he then told me that the room he just gave us is double the cost. "It's a suite, I charge $89.99 for it" he says. "you asked for a regular room, for $44.99." I asked if he was planning to charge us $89 and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. Instead he said, "I don't know". I told him straight out that I wasn't about to stay if he was planning to hit us with a bill once we left, and he still seemed unsure but finally said "don't worry about it." I told him I wasn't about to pay $89 for a room that isn't much better then the last one, and when both are so dirty! He didn't even blink. I was very uncomfortable with this person saying he "didn't really know" if he was going to charge us double or not. I mean, if you're making the customer happy because your room is terrible, why should they pay more?

Anyhow we didn't even spend a night there. We packed up and went across the street to Super 8, who were much better. But you can bet that we won't be staying at Motel 6 again. There are so much nicer hotels in Springdale.

My wife and I travelled from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to Southern Utah and were quite pleasantly surprised with the upkeep of this motel. Nothing spectactular, of course, but considering our total bill for two nights was an "economical enough" $111, we felt we got our money's worth. Our room had two queen size beds. The mattresses were very soft, maybe too soft for our liking, but comfortable nonetheless. The room was a decent size though the bathroom is tiny. The sink is outside the bathroom which gave us plenty of room to freshen up. There is also a refrigerator and stove in the room which we did not need. The only drawback to the room was the floor air conditioning unit which was a bit noisy. Overall, the room was fine. The jacuzzi is tiny but at least it was hot! So many hotels these days keep the temperature down to bathtub temperature. The pool area had towels so no need to bring some from the room. If you are a smoker, as my wife is, the grounds have a couple of tables where she could sit and relax without bothering anybody. Parking was plentiful. If you need food or snacks, right across the street there is a coffee shop and a gas station with a mini-mart. A couple of quick notes: 1) Though the website said an iron was in the room, we did not find one. Lucky we brought our own.
2) Book thru the main Motel6[-] website if you can. Thru the internet, we ended up paying an average of $55 per night, which included a Friday night. We overheard some other travellers were quoted a rack rate of $89 a night(which we were later told they worked down to $69).

This motel was very nice! One of the pet peeves of staying at motels is the level of noise that is generally experienced. I have stayed at many Residence Inns and have always heard plumbing running in other rooms. This can be disturbing when you wake up to someone else's constant shower, toilet, etc! We experienced no sounds of anything at this location! I have to say it was close to being a first! There is a very nice courtyard in the front of the building with chairs, tables, and several BBQ grills. Very nice and worth the price for sure!
