This place is located right off the highway and also provides overnight camping spots along with the hot springs, pools, two water slides and hot tubs. Our family of 7 (with 4 teens and 1 6yr old) went and stayed for four days. Cost was very reasonable as we had discounted vouchers. However, probably would not have spent regular price for our stay. It was easy to find with GPS. When we arrived we went to check in and the staff were very nice (mainly high school kids). However, in true high school fashion, they acted like their age. We went to our assigned camping spot and found it to be okay with shade trees and we began to set up camp. We got almost everything done and then we noticed that the sewage hookup had overflowed a little. We later found out it had been clogged with trash and campfire ashes. We notified the camp host and he looked at it and tried to force water down the pipe and that only made it worse, of which invited MANY FLIES. He covered the hole with the plug and was leaving and I asked him if he was going to do anything to fix it or clean it up and he said "that's not my job, I'm just the host". He then left. I was just about to go and complain at the check in desk and he came back and said he had a repair man coming in 5 minutes to fix the problem and offered us a different camp site. We had already set up camp taking valuable time to do so. So I comprimised and said we will if it doesn't get fixed and cleaned up. The repair was done and it was cleaned up and we were fine. The flies left, but the hornets and mosquitos came later. There were many that had taken residence inside the concrete posts, electrical hook ups, as well as the water pump areas. Lots of bug spray and we were okay. There were community bathrooms and showers. We had brought our own shower tent so that was sufficient for our needs. The bathrooms and showers provided really needed lots of cleaning and care / repair. The pools area was great! Our kids really had fun playing in the 4 ft. deep pool with a basketball net. The hot springs and tubs were really soothing and found them to be very relaxing by days end. The water slides were fun too. However, we only saw 2 adult staff the entire time during our stay in the pools area. Overall, it was fun and we did have good quality family time. There were some ducks and geese at the river at the camping area edge and we fed them some bread and took photos. There were also some good spots along the rivers edge for family photos. Just very disappointed with service and the upkeep of the grounds. Not necessarily recommended for camping stay, but the pools yes.
