Salt Lake City is a hidden treasure !! I could stand anywere in this city and all 4 sides I could see mountains !! This hotel is within 15 minutes from 6+ ski resorts !! I would recommend this if you want to try new ski resorts, very close !! Friendly people!! We had to drive to eat & shop, but that is OK, great scenary & we located a great hill to go sledding !!

En route to a job in Utah, we stayed at this hotel for eight days while finding a temporary place to live. Eva checked us in and took good care of us during our stay. Since we were moving halfway across the country we have our dog with us and both Eva and the General Manager loved her.

After nights of being placed in the crummiest room by the ice and soda machine overlooking parking lots and warehouses, this was a treat. Unfortunately the contracted rate never came through and it was more than we wanted to spend, but it got us through the move and new job.

Thank you to the maids as well, who made the best of our having our dog with us. They do charge a one-time pet cleaning fee of $100. That's not good if you're staying one night, but for eight it was "pet rent."

As owners of a happy 40 lb. dog we were not treated as riffraff. We were on the top floor with accommodations given to every guest. That was not the case in other parts of our trip.

This hotel is pretty standard Residence Inn fare. The mattress was particularly good and as always, reliable free internet. I had a one bedroom. The "bedroom" was extraordinarily small. I needed to turn sideways to go between the dresser and the bed. The sofas, tv, etc. are a little dated. No flat screens here. Breakfast was very good. The manager's receptions weren't so good. (I've noticed at my last few Residence Inns that these have really declined. It may be system wide. They used to be very nice.) A few restaurants are within walking distance, which is really convenient. I would probably stay here again. There's nothing wrong with this place. I was here for business and thought it was simply okay, but for the skiers this place is a real find. Its on the fringes of Salt Lake but extraordinarily convenient to many ski areas.

A relatively new low rise hotel located on the south eastern edge of the city so ideal for Snowbird, Alta and the like.
Our room for 2 nights was of a reasonable size, clean, well decorated with well equiped kitchen and effective although occassionally clunky aircon.
A good extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast was included in the room rate as was the ski pass.
Other features were free parking, free internet, open air pool and hot tub and very helpful front desk staff.
18 miles to SLC airport.
Several decent restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bland walk as the hotel is mainly nestled amongst commercial buildings and adjacent to a main road.
Glad I was staying here on edge of City as the smog hanging over the city was acrid.

Went for honeymoon, 4 night stay
Room: Very clean, really nice; sitting room, kitchen with all needed appliances, great shower head, nice bathrooms, clean white fluffy towels :) Beds were very comfortable and clean
Great room service
All rooms smoke-free
Great chair & desk w/ high speed internet
Great location, close to SLC but not in the city
Pool
Breakfast: Very good, hot buffet, lots of variety
Staff was very friendly and happy
You can order groceries & they buy them & bring them to you
My husband had them buy and put out a dozen red roses in a really nice vase
Very highly recommended!
