This was easily the worst meal of our 3-week stay in Utah/Colorado/Arizona. This seemed to be the only restaurant in town open in the evening.
We ordered Teriyaki chicken. It came on a bed of rice. The rice was badly undercooked, some grains being hard and transparent (raw). The Teriyaki sauce was almost non-existent. There were no other side dishes - no salad, vegetables, etc. The coffee we ordered with it was luke-warm.
The waitress never came near the table again, so we were unable to complain until she came with the cheque. By then we had eaten the meat - we were hungry - and such of the rice that could be eaten. We complained bitterly then; the waitress apologised and said she was temporary and would inform the chef. She did offer us coffee to go, which we accepted - it was hot that time!
I don't know where else you could eat in Hanksville in the evening when Blondie's is closed. Perhaps you could find some food before you arrive in town (not that there is much reason to go there).
