The museum has a wonderful video about Powell's expedition down the Green and Colorado Rivers. The exhibits are well-done and informative. There is a newer section about dinosaurs.

Donna was knowledgable, friendly, helpful on ideas for our trip and went out of her way to give us info. Highly recommend. Good for a small museum.

This is an excellent stop to find out about the exploration of the area in our "early" years as a nation and the men that challenged the rivers. The short film gives such a terrific description of the river's exploration that you almost feel you have gotten wet in the rapids. The replicas of the vessels is very interesting. Displays really help to understand the people and events. Easy to return to I-70 either east or west bound. Well worth the stop. The restaurant across the street is also great value and great food.

East entrance on Business I-70 to Green River brings you to this lovely museum on the banks of the Green River. Displays make evident the courage of these early explorers. The Museum's store is worth more than a glance. Friendly staff.
