“The first stop after backpacking”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

I've eaten here countless times, but never just while "passing through" town. This place is a Godsend after spending a number of days backpacking through Coyote Gulch & eating backpacking food, drinking mostly water, etc. This is the first stop I make on the way out, and I can honestly say that the pizzas are absolutely delicious & the cold beer delectable. Of course my opinion is probably super skewed as I am usually craving anything that resembles real food at that point, but I can honestly say that from this perspective, the food is absolutely worth the stop.

“Best place in town”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

this is by far one of the best café's in the area and in the whole desert area. Definitely worth the stop when you drive through Escalante. They serve a great breakfast and nice pizza. They go the extra mile to serve really really nice food. The adjacent shop is nice too. Great ambience.

So you have just completed a canyon off of Hole in the Rock, take a left at the stop sign and head toward Escalante. You deserve a delicious pizza and a beer or 3..... Be patient keep drinking and realize just how lucky you are!

“This place is awesome!”

We came for the pizza & beer and were not disappointed! Cute place inside and in the back of an outdoor outfitters (great stuff) The pizza was really, really good!! But so were the salads!! Everything was homemade and delicious! The folks were SO friendly and the service was great! We would have gone both nights but we wanted to try other places too. Came here in the morning for coffee and muffins....also delicious!
