The server was not really that nice after we her a five dollar tip just for a glass of tea. Later on, the baked oatmeal was average, not great.

My parents and I had dinner here once during our trip to Escalante. We had the Moody Creek pizza, King's Mesa pizza, house wine, and pitcher of beer. Some of the best pizza I have ever had! Service was great too. The inside seating is a little small, but they do have a large patio. And the other half of the store sells maps, books, t-shirts, and other outdoors supplies. I might have to drive back to Escalante just for the pizza :)

Stopped here with a group of 12 campers needing to get out of the rain at supper time. With very little fuss tables were rearranged to accommodate such a large
group. Service was good and very friendly. 5 different pizzas were ordered. All got rave reviews.

We always stop here when traveling through Escalante on our way elsewhere. First of all, the calzones are amazing. Ok, so everything here is good, but I am a huge fan of the calzones.

It's also a great spot to stock up or pick up anything you've just realized you are missing before you hit the true wilderness and will have a harder time making do. The staff is always friendly and they are more than happy to help with advice about where you're going, especially if it's somewhere local.
