Owner description: With over 7,000 acres of pristine terrain, we are a one of a kind winter adventure resort you have to experience to believe. Powder Mountain is renown for it's incredible powder skiing, 100% natural corduroys and the best cat skiing and heli skiing terrain around. With a throwback family feel and two acres per skier/rider, the slopes are never overcrowded. Known to locals as Pow Mow, this mountain provides a variety of terrain and opportunities for your first time on the slope grom, to the expert cliff dropping ripper.

“AMAZING TERRAIN AND OPTIONS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

Powder Mountain is one of those special places with unlimited terrain to access, where even on a packed weekend you could avoid people all day. From their lifts, to their hike to's, to their backcountry snocat tours(which I've done twice and are worth every penny!!), to powder country and the bus that picks you up, to lightening ridge, the possibilities are endless in a stunning setting, especially if you stay at the top of the mt. in their condos. Love this place.

“great... if there's powder”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2014

unfortunately, we went during a 2 week dry spell. The place has endless terrain, although alot of it you have to hike to. The few groomers they did have were real nice and in good shape... but I wouldn't go back unless it was a powder day.

“Low Key and Upbeat!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014

It may not have the vertical of other resorts, but this resort with the local feel was a bargain. Lift operators and staff were friendly, fellow skiers were some of the friendliest! Food was a bargain and delicious - try the empanadas at the lodge on top. We cannot wait to come back! Best kept secret!

“This place is Huge!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2014 via mobile

Probably the best stop for variety on our ski trip. Very friendly staff and outstanding Mountian Hosts. Every where you looked was an outstanding view. The terrain was fun and had the most powder on the off piece runs. Spent 6 hours and only saw about 2/3 of the place. Really recommend this place!

I believe this is the largest sky resort in the USA area wise. Snows great, the vista beautiful and the prices are reasonable.
