This isn't a huge aquarium like you'd find in Chicago, but it has all the things children go to an aquarium to see. I actually like that it's a little bit smaller. My five-year-old grandson has a family membership at Loveland, and because it's small and he goes there often, he knows where everything is and how to get there. Rather than making him follow some set itinerary, I let him lead me to his favorite places. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - giving us insightful information as we paused at various exhibits.

We ate a snack at the cafe. The cookies are adorable and delicious, and an order french fries is big enough to share.

All in all it was a great way to spend the afternoon!

Went with my wife today. It was interesting, but not as impressive as I was hoping for.
The shark exhibit is cool, but overall not a venue I would visit often.

This was a place of great fun for kids of all ages! They offer different feeding times for different areas and there is always a staff member close by to answer questions. They also offer a variety of fun movies that are full of education.

We have kids ranging from 13-4 and they all really enjoyed their time here. There are several 4D or 3D moves showing and lots of things to see and learn. In my opinion this would be my second choice of aquarium, after Monterey Bay aquarium in California. It’s large and lots of things to see. It was quite crowded the day we went though. But it is worth the visit. It is a bit more costly per ticket to go. So make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy the whole thing thoroughly to get your money’s worth.

It is warm and humid inside so if you bring jackets make sure you have a place to store them.
