The front desk older woman shouldn't work with the public; the young blond woman behind the desk was very helpful. The room was clean. Good location.
I liked best the location; least-they said they had a pool but it was across the street and belonged to another hotel!

This lodge serves its purpose for one-night stay during our trip to Bryce Canyon National Park. The room is clean. it's close to the park. There is no compelling reason for me pay much more to stay at Best western.

no complaint.

Room Tip: the rooms on the first floor are convenient for loading / unloading luggage

Dreadful night's sleep wondering what might be crawling round the floor. Washed and bathed under running water due to the state of the basin and bath. Shower head looked very risky to use. Toilet functioned well - only good thing about the room. Dinner and breakfast are a quarter of a mile away. Presumably barrack blocks are US Army surplus. Ghastly experience!

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!

Basic room with few facilities, no fridge for example.

The only place to get breakfast was the diner or restaurant a little way away and across the road.

But clean and adequate and reasonably close to what few facilities there are in this very small settlement.

Oh dear, a lot of poor reviews for this rather strange hotel which are not entirely unfounded.

Basically the whole area is called Ruby's Inn, there seem to be about three hotels that are actually all part of the same business so you share facilities. The main Ruby's inn is about 5 minutes walk away (it really isnt a problem but you cant nip there in your pj's) and its where everything useful is (restaurant, fast food joint, shop amd liquor store)

The lodge rooms were ok, pretty basic and non-descript. Nothing to get excited about and you wouldnt want to have to spend much time in them.

We ate in the fast food joint to avoid te long queue at the restaurant. It was ok.

Had breakfast in the restaurant as there were no other options. It was of similar quality to all the other hotel buffets we had- lots of fruit available thankfully.

The main issue with this place was the alcohol laws - there is no bar! So forget the idea of a nice cold lager after that 200 mile drive!

To be fair the shop sold cold beer and there was a wine shop available but its not quite the same.

Beware the shop is uber-expensive!

Stayed here for one night only during a recent tour. Very basic, clean & comfortable beds, but whole site looks like an army barracks. Ruby's have the whole area tied up, the restaurant, shop, Best Western & everything else around.
Buffet restaurant was ok, very busy though & queuing, but no option if you wanted breakfast.
A short stroll across the road.

There is already a review from someone who was on the same tour as I was. This placed looked like it had featured in WW2. The room I had was small but basically OK. The main gripe is that it is at least a ten minute walk to the 'restaurant' and then a long queue to get seated. In fairness to the staff when we did manage to get seated the service was good and the food excellent but when we left the queue was even longer than when we arrived. I never bothered with breakfast. Being a Sunday you could not buy liquor but were served wine with a meal. I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Go and stay in the Great Western next door.
