“BOOK A 2 HOUR TRAIL RIDE!! VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY STAFF!! LOVED IT!! Big Thank You To The Rich Family.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2011

My husband, teenage son, and I stayed 2 nights in the Deluxe Room. We had two separate sleeping quarters, nice and private. It was nice having the separate bathroom and vanity when getting ready. Soft towels and sheet too! Like the convinence of the refrigerator and microwave. Room 150 is close to the restraunt and walking distance to the swimming pool and sauna. Bring your bathing suits. The 2 hour horse back trail ride is walking distance to the motel. Their staff was very friendly and courteous. The horses were well behaved and knew the trail very well. Bryce Canyon is close by, approximately 10-15 minutes away.
My family and I would recommend any couple or family to stay at this motel.

We booked a trail ride with these people two days in advanced. My 8 year old was SO looking forward to it. We showed up the morning of our scheduled ride and were told there were "no horses for us." Why take reservation if you do NOT HONOR THEM! It was our last day in the area & everything else was booked. My son was heartbroken.

I spent one night in this Motel when visiting Bryce and had diner and breakfast there.
it is a family owned place, the team is very friendly and the food was great! Coming from Europe and having travelled 15 days in South Western US, changing place everyday, I can say that this is from far the better cooking I have eaten!
Rooms are nice, clean, staff is friendly, overall good quality with a special congrats for the cooking and their pies! Quality for the price is very good!

Room Tip: Comfortable rooms / seems that bungalows have better rooms...

We didn't like the food at Rubys and weren't thrilled with the food at the lodge so someone recommended Pines and we're glad we tried it. It's known for their soup and pies. It has great homecooked meals and is very affordable. We went for dinner one night and then for lunch the next day. Definitely the best option when visiting Bryce.

We passed this restaurant on our way to the Bryce canyons. After checking in at Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel went back and had dinner - great dinner in a very nice setting Next day we had lunch and we all think this is the best option in the area. You will love it!

Good sized room, clean, needed an airing but ok afterwards, Good value for location. Horse riding available and out door pool. Good restaurant food, local style cooking. Very near to Bryce canyon. Lots of room styles from cottages to hotel style.

The look and feel of this appealing hotel and restaurant (owned by the same local familly since 1955) took me back to my childhood in the 60's...and I mean that in the most positive way. The stone fireplace in our room, the lobby and restaurant decor, the menu, serving coffee for guests in the lobby each morniing...it all had a nostalgic, comforting, but very real ambiance. We hiked in nearby Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, returning to the hotel for good food, great service and a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Book early and ask for a fireplace.
