We strongly urge you to give this museum a visit. It is a stunning collection of mounted animals, reptiles, butterflies and birds that is gorgeously displayed in an immaculate space, without, we were told, government support of any kind.
But first know the owner, as other reviewers have noted, is eccentric. Since he is the guy that traveled the world, and personally hunted and/or gathered hundreds of the most exotic animals in the museum, this is not all that surprising. We talked awhile with him, and found him to be fascinating, as he has led an unconventional and adventurous life.
If you do stop in, see the gorgeous Europen deer out back. He may, or may not :), let you feed them. They are extraordinary, especially the velvet buck. There are also a couple of mini ponies out front, fun for little ones.
We did not rent atvs but will on our next trip back to Bryce.
