This is a new hotel at bryce canyon, and we weren't sure what to expect as everyone told us to stay at Ruby's. But we loved this hotel. The layout is a typical best western, but since it was brand new it was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient. The free breakfast was bountiful. The location was perfect. It's a little quieter and less congested than Ruby's (also a best western) but so close that it was easy to get to shopping and the park.

This hotel is brand new and it definitely shows in a good way. Check in was fast as there was nobody else around and an early check-in was gladly accommodated even though we were there 3 hours early.

The main lobby is very nicely appointed and there were many luggage carts on the left hand side when you enter to bring up any belongs you might have. Also located in the main lobby is a business center (didn't use it) and a room with PC's for internet access (similar to those found at airports)- FREE of charge to use. A complimentary breakfast that includes both hot and cold items is included during your stay and is much better than other complimentary breakfasts I've had. Towards the back of the hotel are a small fitness room which was free to use and a laundry room ($2.75 a wash load and $2.00 for dryer...kind of expensive and no change machine in room so you'll need to visit the front desk for a roll of quarters) but at least they have a nice flat screen TV for you to watch in there. Finally there is a small pool and hot-tub located behind the main lobby.

The room is very spacious and tastefully done, it's new so everything was clean and in great condition, the bed was comfortable. Amenities include a fairly large flat screen TV, mini-fridge, free wifi and micro. Some nice surprises included granite double sinks outside of the bathroom and a nice work desk with fully adjustable chair. Another reviewer stated that the AC fan would not stay on- I also found this to be true- normally the AC fan will continue to run and the compressor will kick in as needed but this unit would just completely shut down- I managed a work around by just lowering the temp to it's lowest level.

One caveat: This hotel is **outside** the park but is about 5 minutes driving time away from the visitor center and another 2-3 minutes away from the lodge in the park.

We spent one night at this new Best Western. I had originally booked us a room through the National Park lodging but wasn't convinced that a room with no air conditioning and a cot for my 3rd child would be comfortable. When I saw here on Trip Advisor that this hotel had just opened, I switched out our reservations. I am glad that I did!

Check in was easy. I did notice that all the check in staff work hard to push the Cowboy Dinner Show, the rodeo, and other venues run by Ruby's.

We had a spacious 2 Queen Room with a pull out Queen sofa sleeper. It was a large room with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us to spread out! The bathroom had a double sink vanity and the tub and toilet were separate. (Love that!) There was a small fridge and a microwave. Connection to the internet was fast and easy.

The pool was a bit small for the size of the hotel. There was a large fitness room.

The lobby was styled in the tradition of an old lodge with wood and stone and high ceilings. The art work in the lobby and in the hallways was very nice and appropriate to the setting and theme.

We were surprised at what a nice breakfast the hotel offered in the morning. The selection included eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, and much more. We really didn't expect that much. There was a lot of staff around to clean the tables when you were finished and to keep the area well stocked.

You can walk to shops, the rodeo, A Cowboy dinner, and other places to eat.

The hotel is right outside the park.

I hope that they will be able to keep this hotel clean and fresh as time and high visitation take their toll.
