During the winter season we had two choices--here or Rubys. We are glad we chose here. Decor was simple and nice. Lobby was huge, with a nice fireplace. Breakfast area was roomy and breakfast buffet was better than average.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. The fireplace in the lobby is definitely welcoming during the winter months. Our breakfast buffet offers a variety of cold and hot items for each of our guests to have a great meal.

We appreciate your comments and hope to have you visit again! If we can be of assistance in the future, please contact us at 435-834-5341.

Sincerely,

Manager's Assistant

The hotel is in a good location but then again so are all the accommodation options in the town outside Bryce canyon.

The room was great, very comfortable and had fast Wi-Fi, widescreen tv, mini fridge and microwave.

The included breakfast was also great with better than normal selection that you would get at hotels/motels of this standard.

There is also a decent sized laundry downstairs.

Now we came in the offseason so a word of warning if you do too: There is not much around i.e shops, restaurants and in offseason there is really only 1 restaurant open and everything else is shut and the vending machines don't have a great selection. We were lucky we were doing a roadtrip so therefore we had plenty of food packed ourselves so we were able to heat up food for dinner at night and make lunch during the day.

Highly recommend this place and bring your own food if staying in offseason.

The good: check-in was easy; the room was clean and comfortable; the location is fabulous - very close to the park entrance; employees were pretty friendly (Becky was awesome!); breakfast was included and pretty good - scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, bacon, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, pastries, coffee, tea, OJ; the lobby was very nice and comfortable; the laundry facilities were huge and super clean.

The bad: the room was really too small for the rollaway bed we needed, though we made it work; the sound of people walking/running above us was annoying; there was only one elevator for one entire side of the hotel, and it was slow and busy (we ended up taking the stairs when possible); the water pressure in the shower was kind of low; breakfast was extremely busy, whether we went at 7:30 or 9:15, and we often had to eat in the lobby because all the tables were full.

Overall a very nice stay in an excellent location. I'll be coming back for sure.

Room Tip: Choose the top floor to avoid hearing people above you. Choose bottom two floors to avoid having to...

Beautiful building and room. Great breakfast. It felt luxurious to stay here. For dinner, try Ruby's Inn across the street. It was the only place open in town but the meal was very good. The hotel must be brand new as it is quite attractive.

Thus is the place to stay if you plan to hike Bryce Canyon. Breakfast included is excellent with lots to chose form. Large rooms and good internet. No dining in evening; Ruby's restaurant about 300 yd. away which can mean a pleasant stroll or a drive in cold weather. Has buffet at reasonable price.

The Best Western is the only choice really in the area. It is a nice hotel, with good-sized rooms and free breakfast. The coffee is weak, so bring some extra instant to increase the java jolt. It is well located near Bryce Canyon.

This is a beautiful facility with very friendly and service minded personnel. We had a great time here during our stay of two nights. The value for the use of the facility is outstanding. We had a slight problem the first afternoon after coming back from hiking where our room had not been cleaned. Called the front desk to report this and in five minutes there was someone to correct the issue. We left the room for the lobby and after cleaning they stopped by to advise us the room was ready and aplogized for the error. I thought this was very nice.
