This place is outside the park which was fine, we'd had along drive and were tired and hungry. The place was very tired and run down , like an old motel.the shower and bath arrangement good but. It. Felt sleazy and dirty. The people walking overhead felt like they were in our room and we got to pay way more for the privilege . Traveling up to the canyon park entrance would have been much better...a great Best Western with lower rates. Skip Bryce Canyon resort.

Room Tip: Get a view and if it's warm, they have an indoor pool and try yo get a second floor room as it s...

We had two small dogs, which led us here. Were told they had wifi (not anywhere near an actual room though, only in the "lobby", so it was mostly unavailable.)

Old 5-gallon toilets with an ironic "Save the environment - save water" sign about not washing towels too often. Neighbor flushed toilet, my shower got too hot. The light switch didn't turn anything on. The window rattled (missing rubber that holds the pane in it's aluminum frame). Really old TV (never turned it on). Our room didn't have a fridge. No plastic dirty-clothes bag. No hangers. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Pluses: Pets allowed. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff.
Minuses: Rattling windows, run down everything, light switch does nothing, old old everything, Ice machine left dismantled and not working. Ridiculously overpriced for the value - except for the location.

With the cost of our rooms, surely they could afford to upgrade something? Since Panguitch is only 30 minutes from the entrance of Bryce, we're staying there next time. The drive is scenic and amazing anyway, worth staying in Panguitch.

Bryce Canyon makes it all worth it in the end.

Room Tip: Stay in Panguitch. 30 minutes away and is more in line with the value.

We booked using web site National Parks Reservations.com thinking we were booking in the park. This place is on the highway 8 miles out of the park. Terrible run down and very expensive. $199/ night. We were definitely tricked. We were told historic cabin. Mostly rundown, I appealing, and tacky.

Coveniently located, not too far from the park entrance. Quite surroundings. The rooms of the main building need to be refreshed. They look old and completely worn out. Although our room was clean, it didn't look and feel tidy. Shabby.
Refurbish the entire lot and you have a great place to stay.

This place is a bit run down. We stayed in the main complex; not a cabin. The rooms are a bit shabby in that they could use a paint job. No reefer in the room. Ice machine doesn't work. Exterior bulbs were replaced when I commented about many being out. Small screen TV though with a fair degree of channels. Double sinks were nice, and the bathrooms where ok. Hair dryer didn't work. Only 4 hangers of which two were partially broken. It was quiet. Black out curtains were not complete. Our key deactivated, but we were able to get it reactivated after hours (10 PM) in short order. I can see why they have a non-refundable prepay in full. We would have pulled out. For $50.00 more per day you can stay at Ruby's Best Western Inn which is a whole lot nicer in many ways.

Before I booked the resort, I read the other reviews and wondered what I was getting into. However once I got there, it was all fine. I was travelling with my parents , we are vegetarians and like to cook our own food so a place with a kitchenette was a must. I booked the cottage, it had a small 2 burner electric stove that plugged in, a fridge and a microwave. The bedroom was large and had 2 queen beds, the living room had a very comfortable pull out sofa bed. There were some pots and pans and mugs.

We were not planning to spend a whole load of time there so it did just fine! There is a laundromat on the property, the front office sells detergent and provides quarters (1:50$ per load each for the washer and dryer separately}. There was a restaurant on property, I did not visit it. There is WiFi in the main office which remained open till 10 pm everyday ( the hot chocolate / fresh coffee brewed was very welcome). The staff were friendly and polite and helpful. The USB port of the computer for visitors was broken and none other was available.

The resort ( as it is called) is located 3 miles down the road from Bryce Canyon and is away from the noise and crowd that surrounds Rubys. I called early and got the manager's special @ 169$ per night for the cabin. It was cheap, quiet and convenient. I would stay there again if I went to Bryce Canyon again.

Room Tip: Cottages are larger and have a kitchenette. Make sure when you book your room has a microwave and a...

Clean with friendly service. We had the duplex cabin with a kitchenette; a great plus when you start looking for a place to eat. Since this was a road trip for the Husband and I, we had food supplies for breakfast and lunch. We stayed two days and loved being close to Bryce Canyon but far enough away from the fake cowboy town and maddening crowd at Ruby's. The first morning, I sat outside our room with a cup of coffee and watched a herd of horses grazing. Rooms are large, clean, and being restored (not remodeled) with new paint and fixtures. We had a flat screen TV, a faux fireplace that was fun when a May snow storm blew through. I like that the swimming pool is in its own building and covered for warmth. I would come back to Bryce Canyon Resort as this lodging is peaceful, comfortable, and clean.

Room Tip: Get a cabin with a kitchenette and bring food for meals from one of the larger towns in the area.
