“Go in the summer and eat on the patio, you'll thank me later”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

After visiting Silver Lake at the top of the mountain, we needed refueling. There was only a few options, a small deli/ store with dining on picnic tables in the middle of a parking lot, or this place. We chose this place after looking over the menu and verifying that they had something the kids would eat. We had to wait a few minutes to sit out on the back patio. This is something you will want to do. The warm breezes of the mountain, mixed with the smells of wildflowers, and the zippy sounds of the hummingbird were great. Food was a bit pricey, but was good. I had a burger, but I wish I had ordered the same turkey sandwich that my wife did. Kids had fish and chips, and spaghetti. Bring your camera with a zoom lens to get some shots of the hummingbirds.

“A short ride from Solitude Village.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

To add some variety to our dining experiences at Solitude, Silver Fork Lodge will send a car to pick you up at the condo village and bring you back and forth to the restaurant if you do not have a car. The atmosphere is log rustic and casual. The food and service is very good. Prices are reasonable for resorts. Definitely a keeper for future trips.

“Tourist Trip”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

Went for dinner and thought that this place is a real tourist trap. The food was mediocre and way overpriced. The menu is boring. The waitstaff were so rushed to get us out the door and the next suckers in that they were literally speed walking around the restaurant, sweat dripping off their face. Much better options are available in Solitude village.

“Great restaurant on access road to Solitude!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

A gem of a restaurant on the access road close to Solitude. Food and service were fantastic. Family friendly and cool, log cabin-like atmosphere.

“Best option on the Wasatch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

This was the best place we ate at during our ski trip to Brighton Resort. The barbecue here was good along with the smoked trout. Very casual and very friendly. We were there right at 5 for an early dinner. We noticed that this place got very busy through the night so go early. If you have the option to go into cottonwood heights..there are better restaurants there. The dessert was terrible. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is that I am not sure I would want to go back there again. Definitely go if you have never been.
