Snowbird has it all--bowls, bumps, groomed trails, trees, open terrain, and great snow. You can ski for hours and never get bored. Challenges abound off the Little Cloud chair and Mineral Basin. We've been coming here for several years, and Snowbird never gets old. Lift attendants are courteous. Food service is adequate. The mountain is great.

Bowls, Chutes, Traverses, Gates, Powder, Moguls, Groomers, all in one magnificent package, with loads and loads of snow. And if you ever feel lonely among humanity's six billion people; take the Tram and enjoy the company of 100 of your fellow snow fanatics. As anyone who has ever been there can attest, the "Bird" is just about the best that there is.

I've been going to Snowbird and other local resorts since I was a little girl. I've always loved Snowbird. I'm not incredible at skiing, but I'm not a beginner either. They have a good variety of runs for each level. I would say it's best for moderate to advanced. Good areas for kids to explore (mini-miner camps) as well as adults. Runs and lifts are well maintained.

Snowbird resort is one of the most challenging yet most interesting resorts in Utah. You'll pick up the hardcore vibe as soon as you park, seeing the powder skis and boarders bundled up for action. As you squeeze onto the tram for the ride to the summit, the anticipation continues to build and the adrenaline begins to flow. Once you explode out at the summit, you'll have views all the way back to the Salt Lake City valley, with huge bowls falling away in every direction. Ahhhh. Like all resorts, best on a powder day and nothing beats it. On other days, follow the sun for softened runs and great mix of terrain. Not for the faint hearted, but if you are confident about your abilities, you should definitely try it.
