“A great place to eat”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

While not the gourmet food we had the neighboring Hell's Backbone Grill, the food at Burr Trail was excellent and much lower in cost. We both were glad we stopped here.

“Nice spot”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Stopped here for an early dinner. We both had burgers which were good. I had the spicy burger which was interesting. We sat outside where there were several people with dogs. So, if you're not a dog person... you know the drill.

One tip if it's summer time. They seem to struggle getting their beer cold enough. I asked them to put my bee in ice after drinking my first warm beer.

The place is a little bit more pricey than other options in the area. You'll see the same beer for a $1.00 or more less at other similar spots. Same goes for the pieces of pie. Note: if you want the best pie in the area go to Bryce Pines Restaurant - see my review!!!!

Not a bad place to stop in an area with not many choices.

“An Oasis”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Southern Utah is beautiful, but it seems that restaurants are a bit hard to find sometimes. So when we spotted the Burr Trail Grill, we decided to give it a try. Much to our delight the menu was unique and the food was great. A fun place to relax from the road.

“Excellent quality good value”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

We can only confirm previous reviews in praise of the food at the Grill. We had burgers which were made from fresh ingredients of excellent quality. Having done our research before our visit we were ready for the pies and were not disappointed. They are homemade and delicious.

“Don't Miss”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

My husband and I had the great fortune to enjoy lunch at the Burr Trail Grill during a scenic drive along Highway 12 and Hell's Backbone in and out of Escalante Utah. We both had the burgers, which had come highly recommended by an Escalante local and were delighted. Super tasty and perfectly cooked. The bread and butter pickles which were served alongside were a standout as well - just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Service was top notch - quick, accurate and lively. Wish we lived closer so we could sample more of the menu. Will definitely be back.
