This past February was our second time staying at the Desert Rose Inn and Cabins in tiny Bluff, Utah. I made my reservations online to save a few bucks and guarantee a room just in case it was full after our day drive through Monument Valley. We stayed on the bottom floor in a two bed room, although I had requested a King online. But that was okay, just had to get cozy with my husband to keep warm. The rooms are very nicely decorated with lots of Western touches and tons wood. Took advantage of the complimentary coffee in the lobby and even some hot tea. Also, we are from Florida so we appreciate any hotel when we travel west in the winter that has heat lamps in the shower area, to take off the chill. Great place to stay for a night of sweet slumber.

Always a pleasure to stay here, the rooms are always very presentable and clean (light and white colored bed spreads, so there is no hiding any dirt or stains). Staff are always helpful, friendly and willing to visit. The only draw back would be noise from up stair rooms are easily heard below. Book a second floor room, and don't look for an in room microwave as indicated in in-room hotel guide.
Having stayed in other places in Bluff, and Blending the Desert Rose is by far the best choice.

Room Tip: Book an upstairs room.

I believe the guide says Microwaves and Refrigerators in the Executive Cabins. We are working on refrigerators for all the rooms.

Love staying here. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. When we head to Arizona we try to always make our stopping point in Bluff just to stay here.
The hotel is a beautiful design, and frankly I really like that the bathroom is not just a little hole in the room.

We just returned to Colorado from an Arizona visit and decided to drive through Monument Valley on the way home. In the little town of Bluff, Utah, we liked the look of a rustic log Iodge and cabin inn, so we decided to try it out. The "Desert Rose" was a great choice. It offers large rooms, comfortable beds and tasteful furnishings. Everything was extremely well kept, and there were nice amenities such as quilts on the beds, good t.v. service and free wireless. The staff was friendly and efficient. And the price was also quite reasonable. We were told that they are constructing more cabins and an indoor pool to be completed this year. Just down the road, located at the foot of some very impressive red rock columns and cliffs, is a Native American trading post offering beautiful art works, and it is attached to a good cafe which serves all day. Worth a stop!

Such a quaint inn! Everything was clean. Chairs on front porch are awesome. Really quite! Very friendly service! Don't miss this place if you're passing through Bluff! We will definitely be back!!! Pretty quilts on the beds. Flat scree TVs. Delicious coffee in the lobby every time we went down.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room, but the cabins are just precious! We were on the first floor and only heard nei...

My family and I recently stayed at the Desert Rose and were thoroughly impressed by the standard of our room and by Cindy's outstanding hospitality. From the moment we walked in Cindy made us feel welcome, including befriending our 16 year old son who was tired and grumpy from many days of travel. In fact by the time we left we felt like we had made new friends.

Our room was beautifully appointed with quality furnishings that you would expect to find in a much more expensive room. In fact, the whole Inn is very attractive. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Also, there are laundry facilities on site for minimal charge which was very convenient.

Thank you to Cindy and the staff at Desert Rose Inn. If we are ever back in Utah we would certainly return to Bluff. If you are travelling through make Bluff and the Desert Rose an overnight stop and you won't be disappointed.

On our way to Colorado, my wife and I stopped over in Bluff Utah, where we happened upon the Desert Inn. We stayed in the large cabin and were very pleased with the staff, but even happier to stay in such a well-appointed cabin... I have no idea about the reset of the establishment, but for anyone who wish peace and quiet in a large well-constructed cabin, then I would recommend number 6.

Room Tip: Cabin 6 is a must.
