Took the journey to the State park.. Bathrooms available . Easy parking, great views of the river making bends from the overlook. There are several places to view. Covered Area with tables to have your food with a view. Keep children nearby it is a long drop down.

Staying in Bluff before continuing our journey to Natural Bridges National Monument we first detoured west to view Goosenecks State Park. What a fascinating vista viewing the San Juan River 1000' below as it "snakes" it way through the canyon. After taking lotsa pictures of this impressive natural creation we then went through the nearby Valley of the Gods (another beautiful area). We culminated this short detour by taking the challenging Moki Dugway to the top then down again. This road is not for the weak-hearted but the view from the top of the Moki Dugway is just as incredible. And since you have travelled this far why not visit Muley Point (at top of Moki Dugway) for one more look at a panoramic view of the San Juan River area.Take a few hours to see all that this area of the country has to offer. You'll be glad that you did!
**One more thing--everything mentioned in this day tour is FREE!

If you're in the area, stop on by, it is free. But it's not worth a big detour. Yes it's big, yes it's impressive, but not that impressive. Riverbend by Page is much more interesting IMO. And it's not bad at all, but it's a stop, look at it for a few minutes, use the facilities and hit the road again. Pretty much just one point to look out from and nothing else to do. It's half an hour at the most and I bet lots of people only spend 5 or 10 minutes there. Photographing it is difficult too, it's too wide. This shot is 3 pics stitched together which does come out well, but a single one doesn't really show it. Nice but not a WOW.

Simple to get to, Great place to stretch your legs for a half hour or more. If you proceed west be advised the road is the Moki Dugway route. Steep grades up the side of the cliff, not for the faint of heart.

We visited Goosenecks on the way from Page, AZ to Moab, UT. I'm so glad we made the short detour to visit this place. It was absolutely AMAZING! I've visited Horseshoe Bend in Page, AZ and Dead Horse in Moab, UT but this place has them both beat. It is simply amazing. I was sad to see that there were very few tourists visiting this place. We have actually passed it up in the past not knowing it was there! I'm glad we discovered it! I've never seen anything like it. I highly recommend taking the time to stop and visit this place. Be careful, however, as there are many drop-offs with no protection keeping you from falling off the cliffs! Definitely a must see!!! You can also see parts of Monument Valley far in the distance:-) There is no fee and no hiking to get to it. You literally drive up, get out of your vehicle and you are there!!!
