We were travelling from Manitoba to Yuma Arizona.....I have no idea where are problem started, but somewhere in the mountains. It was getting dark out and our car started making a horrible noise and I could smell gas. We had passed Salt Lake City and now it was pitch dark outside, our car was having a terrible time to climb the mountains and I saw on a sign that their was a Best Western at Beaver, Utah, that was our plan to make Beaver and hopefully get our car problem sorted out in the morning. . I checked in and yes, they take dogs. a weary family we were; the next morning my husband went to see if he could get some help on the car and I went to tell someone at the front desk that we might be staying an awful lot longer if we did not get our car fixed. The lady in question's name is PAM Hunt and she was so vey nice and very helpful, she said she would work with me and not too worry as they were not busy. as it turned out my husband had the car fixed (the best that could be done in a hurry) and we were finally on the road again. This little motel/hotel was a ray of sunshine, late at night with a nasty blizzard
on the warpath and the lady in question was so helpful. Our many thanks go out to Pam Hunt, who I discovered on her card is" the manager" Way too go Best Western in Beaver.

Room Tip: I would thiink all of the rooms would be good, we were at the back and walked in as you would in a m...

We only stayed one night then went skiing at Eagle Point. Front desk personnel were very nice and came to our room to assist with connecting to their wifi. They were helpful in recommending a dinner place. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Pool/Spa was nice, but needed some type of ventilation as it was hard to breath at night when in use. Breakfast was adequate and consisted of several choices from the menu.

Room Tip: Room with 3 beds had an additional room for not much extra. It was worth the extra money.

We chose to stay in Beaver because it's the halfway point on our drive to northern Utah. I picked the Best Western Paradise because it offered a room with 3 queen bed, and there were 5 of us traveling, including 3 teenagers. The room was wonderful, very clean, beds were comfortable. We decided to take advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub (even though it was below freezing outside). I had mentioned this to the desk clerk as we checked in, he noted that it closed at 10pm and it was already 9pm (we hadn't adjusted to our new time zone yet). He very kindly offered to leave the pool open until 10:30 or so, to give us a chance to enjoy it. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was nice and warm, exactly what we needed to unwind after a long drive in a snow storm. The only fault I can point out is the breakfast. Part of the problem was that the appeared to be understaffed, and the staff there were really hustling to get everyone taken care of. The food however - the free breakfast offered is only included on a very small menu, and if you want to order off the regular menu, they will take $3 off. But the portions were so small, my daughter and I ordered a chicken fried steak and eggs plate, which was $10 on the regular menu. The chicken fried steak was the size of a hamburger patty. For $10, I expected it to be twice that size. Also, the biscuits served with my meal had been on a hot plate too long, the top was soft, but the bottom was rock hard. Very disappointing.

We stayed at this " Motel" Oct 21,2013. Web page can be deceiving. First of all, its a motel, not a hotel. The room was very clean, too clean, very strong bleach smell and wet carpets , the free full breakfast is not full as you get 4-5 choices and they do not like substitutes. The pool is actually indoor but not attached to the motel, very cold walk. The front staff could of been more helpful but got a " dont know" and a shoulder shrug sigh when i asked where i could get a local paper, where else there is to eat in Beaver. Its good for a one night stay but people should know what they are getting. Will stay at Best Western again,,just not in Beaver.

It is a long stretch thru Utah - Beaver, Utah Paradise Inn a good stay with a friendly adjoining restaurant, nice home made food. We had a dinner and then the complimentary breakfast which consisted of three choices, eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, or a pancake/sausage breakfast, or a home made biscuit and gravy. Rooms were clean and the bed moderately comfortable.

Excellent find in Beaver. Nice people. Would definitely return. Nice restaurant next door...Crazy Cow. 200 characters hard to think of besides great value. A lucky discovery on a long road trip. Not much of a town but comfortable night's stay. Very comfy bed.

Nice place to stop. Arrived late in the evening on 2 Nov 13 and found the staff to be very accommodating, upbeat, and informative. The room was clean, fresh, and the bed/pillows were great. The topper in the morning was the breakfast at the Crazy Cow Restaurant adjacent to the motel. Way to go!
