“Great Value! Friendly Staff”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Great value, the room was clean and the property was well kept. Beds were comfortable, comforters clean, sheets looked new. They even already had the extra pillows at asked for in the room when we checked in. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice to know that there are Best Western's high standard is being held at this hotel. We spent one night on way to Denver. Peaceful, quiet and includes free breakfast at restaurant right next door. Will definitely stop on the way back to California

Just passing through, but was a great stopping point for the day's travel. Adequate parking for truckers/vehicles pulling trailers and right off the freeway. The folks there are friendly and made you feel welcomed even if you didn't have reservations. Pets accepted here also. Room was adequate, comfortable bed. I do alot of computing filing reports, and was a little dissapointed with the lack of electrical outlets around the work table. Small refridgerator and microwave though to keep or cook your food. Got a kick out of the A/C in the room though as when the compressor kicked on, it sounded like a turbo charger winding up, but as a mechanic - enjoyed this little noise. I'm sure not all rooms have this feature. Would have liked to see an additional butt tray or garbage receptical at the north end of the building by the stairs as smokers had been tossing their butts onto the grounds and was building a nice collection. Plenty of these recepticles closer to the office though. I would stay at this place again though if passing through.

Better than expected. Very easy access off I-15, yet quiet Clean, redone, nice-sized room. Comfortable beds and split bathroom with toilet and bath/shower separate. Refrigerator, microwave and free wireless. New restaurant next door with good food -- hotel gives coupons for free breakfast. Overall, this was a perfect stopover on our driving trip.

We stayed in Sept, 2012 on our way to Lake Powell. We have never gone wrong with staying at Best Western and this motel lived up to our expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of our room was better than expected: large, clean, simple but nicely furnished, included a small frig and a large flat screen TV. Most important was the quiet air conditioning unit. We had a good dinner at the Crazy Cow Cafe located across the parking lot. Our free breakfast was also at the Crazy Cow Cafe. It was quick and good. I ordered off of the BW Guest free menu and my husband chose from the regular menu and used the $3 discount. All in all a very comfortable, relaxing overnight stay and we will stay again.

Very helpful Front Desk man and a good night's sleep. Crazy Cow Cafe did excellent buffet salad and ribs for dinner and adequate choice at breakfast. Appreciated the good air conditioning as it was 95 outside.

I stayed here in August 2012 for work and to be honest was expecting pretty standard accommodations. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms (and the pillows), but most of all I was thrilled by the very friendly, warm and helpful management/staff. Pam was particularly wonderful and as a small business owner myself I appreciated how she went out of her way to help me on a number of occasions.

Room Tip: Room service is not available, but a few hundred feet from my door was a great restaurant run by the...

My wife and I booked a night at the Best Western in Beaver, Utah, as a stopover on our way back to San Diego from Colorado. We chose Beaver for the location and the Best Western Paradise, because they had a king suite and accepted pets (our two dogs). We got there at about 3 PM and the place was deserted. But, by about 10 PM, the place had no vacancy. So, if you're thinking of stopping here, you might as well get a reservation.

The room was a little dated, but nice enough. It was fairly large, especially with the separate bedroom. And it had a little seating area by the door. There also was a fairly large open area by the bathroom vanity outside the toilet and bathtub area. The TV was a fairly large flat screen. But, the cable service wasn't good (grainy pictures on a lot of the channels).

There is a little restaurant in the parking lot called the Crazy Cow Cafe. That's where you would get the free breakfast. They had a special menu for motel guests that you could order from and pay for it with a coupon from the motel, or you could use the coupon for a $3 discount. The best thing on the free menu was scrambled eggs, toast and bacon/sausage. If you're hungry, use the coupon for the discount.

Being from San Diego, my wife and I love Mexican food, and were curious as to what it was like in this part of the country. We chose Maria's Cocina based on the reviews we had seen. And, it was surprisingly good. The fresh salsa and chips were just like back home, and the meals we got were as good as any we've had in San Diego. Which was surprising, because we expected more of a Tex-Mex style. So, if you find yourself in Beaver and crave Mexican food, Maria's is the place.

Overall, we got what we paid for - a place for us and the dogs to stop for the night. And, if we somehow found ourselves in Beaver, Utah, again, we would stay here.

Room Tip: They don't have elevators. So, if you don't want to schlep your luggage up stairs, get a gro...

Thank you for a well crafted review. We are happy that we met your needs and that you enjoyed the Crazy Cow Cafe. Marias is a hidden gem - Maria really does the cooking. We hope you do find yourself in Beaver again. Beaver is a great place to stay when visiting the Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion's National Park, Capital Reef, National Park and Great Basin National Park.
