After visiting Zion and staying in Springdale, Utah for 3 nights we drove to Bryce Canyon and spent the day exploring there. After we needed a close by place to stop and spend the night before heading towards Idaho. Beaver, Utah seemed to be a good stop.
This hotel was perfect for just that quick overnight stop. It was clean and the room was large. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Perfect for a family of four with teenagers. We didn't use the pool, but it looked quite nice and was clean. Breakfast room is tiny, but provides a quick waffle or danish to take with you before you hit the road.
Be sure to have reservations during the busy vacation season. We did and arrived in the late afternoon and the hotel parking lot was literally empty. It quickly started filling up and as I went by the front desk at one point that evening they were turning people away as they were booked. It seems to be a popular overnight pit stop for travelers.More
