Charming, comfortable and relaxing. Had a wonderful stay on New Year's weekend at this inn. Dan and Denise were extremely helpful with suggestions on dining and sightseeing. The breakfast is good, the rooms are simple and clean and the property is full of mature trees and shrubs. The Inn was a part of a wonderful Wimberly experience. We would stay here again and readily recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Room Tip: The king size bed is best

My wife and I just returned from a short getaway from Houston to Wimberley -- a great little town with a rich history located in the Texas hill country. We had a very nice stay at the Wimberley Inn and found Dan and Denise to be nice, attentive and helpful. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of B&Bs because they are usually more interesting that traditional hotels/motels. The Wimberley Inn met all of our expectations. It is located very near the main square (walkable but it was cold during our stay so we drove over). The rooms do have a hotel/motel feel -- but very clean, large (ours was a deluxe), they have a nice view, Netflix movies, a coffee pot and breakfast on the weekends. This place offers great value for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed Denise and Dan. We have learned that it is important to engage the people we meet when traveling -- it enriches the experience and you will find that most are good folks. If you want fancier you can find that in the area -- and will pay for it.

Here are a few things that made our visit more interesting: discovered country singer/yodeler and little-known Texas treasure Jill Jones while visiting 'By the Bridge Antiques' (owner and resident; picked up one of her CDs which became the soundtrack of our visit), visited Jacob's Well, the Blue Hole, blueberry pancakes at the Wimberly Cafe and walked the 'Trail of (Christmas) Lights'.

This was our 2nd stay at the Wimberley Inn but the first time we'd met the innkeepers, Denese and Dan. The rooms are nice (we got the Charlie Pride room this visit) but what sets it apart from other places are D&D. Very sociable folks who go out of their way to make your stay is enjoyable. The breakfasts (only on the weekends) are really good and good for you. We'll be back.

We have been staying at the Wimberley Inn for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat for those who would like to walk to the square. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and you never know who you might meet as you eat breakfast in the common area. We have seen many families use the location for their wedding party, as they will make sure you have everything that you need.

Stayed eight days in mid November. Immaculate maintenance of the rooms and buildings. The layout of the grounds is very nice...lots of beautiful nooks and crannies to get completely away. Very attentive and caring staff. Denise and Dan go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect and are always ready to help with places to go and things to do. Nice folks all around!

My husband, grandson and I stayed for the weekend at Wimberly Inn in Wimberly, TX recently. It was a great experience. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was very clean and very spacious. The carpet looked brand new and the beds had 4" foam toppers on the mattresses. The bathroom was big enough to dance in and clean, clean, clean. Breakfast was good with homemade muffins, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, english muffins, yogurt, different kinds of cereal and of course there was coffee, tea, milk and orange juice. You could sit either inside or on the patio where you were more than likely to see deer which you could feed some fruit. The grounds were very well maintained and the owners were warm and welcoming. I will definately tell my friends about this little gem.

I needed a room for one night over a three day weekend. The Inn was fully booked but, Denise was able to help by offering the last remaining room which was within the main house. It was fabulous and the room was white glove clean; an observation I made during my previous stay about a month prior. Dan and Denise welcomed us more as house guests rather than customers. Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of healthy choices. Thank you for a great stay!

Room Tip: There are several room options available. They even have a few contemporary rooms that are unique a...
